All electrical installations deteriorate with age and use. They should
therefore be inspected and tested at regular intervals to check whether they are
in a satisfactory condition for continued use. Such safety checks are commonly
referred to as 'periodic inspection and testing'. Once completed you will be
issued with an Electrical Condition Report (EICR).
Periodic inspection will provide




Reveal if any of your electrical circuits or equipment are overloaded.
Find any potential electric shock risks and fire hazards.
Identify any defective electrical work.
Highlight any lack of earthing or bonding.
Tests are also carried out on wiring and fixed electrical equipment to check that
they are safe. A schedule of circuits is also provided, which is invaluable for a
property.
Who should carry out the inspection?
Periodic inspection and testing should be carried out only by electrically accredited
persons. The authorized person must have to follow the rules complying local
standard.

Meter Testing and Certification
According to the standards of
Bangladesh Bureau of Testing and
Consultancy (BRTC), NEC is providing
certification and testing service for various
electrical meters (Thermal gun, Voltmeter,
Ammeter, Megger, Insulation Tester, Earth
Tester etc.) operated in highly equipped
laboratory.
Electrical Drawing & Certification
Following the rules of Bangladesh
National Building Code (BNBC), NEC is
able to provide Single Line Diagram (SLD)
and Electrical as build drawing (electrical
layout) of your factory.
We also offers certification of your
electrical drawing by a certified engineers
of Institute of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB).
What are we offering to you?
1. Panel Board Inspection
Panel board inspection is a basic requirement to
maintain the electrical safety. NEC performs periodical
inspection of control panel and distribution panel
following international procedure.
2. Insulation Measurement
To avoid short circuits or fire hazards, all the electrical
component should have proper insulation.
NEC offers proper measurements of all load cables and
power cables of a system. And measuring insulation
resistance of motors and machines are performed.
3. Load Current Measurement
NEC is able to carry out the measurement of your single
phase and three phase loads over a time period with a
standard monitoring profile.
4. Earth Resistance Measurement
NEC provides the measurements of earthing showing
the deviations with the standards and suggestions.
5. Thermal Observations
Thermo-graphic scan will detect all type of hot points
which can generate at several points like bus-bar,
breaker connection terminal, overloaded cable, splicing
joint etc.
NEC performs this thermo-graphic test and prepare one
report to detect the hot points.
