Programa Básico Objetivos The aim of this course designed for upper-intermediate students of general English is to improve their command of the language and their communication skills in English. Programa de Teoría GRAMMAR 1. Present Simple. Present Continuous. Comparative and superlative adjectives. Phrasal verbs. Intensifier too. 2. Past simple. Present Perfect. Countable and uncountable nouns. 3. Past Continuous. Sentence structure. Direct and indirect objects. 4. Ways of expressing the future. Noun suffixes. Suggestions, offers and invitations. 5. Revision of conditional sentences. The article. Adjective suffixes. VOCABULARY Vocabulary related to the topic worked upon in each lesson. A great deal of work will be devoted to expanding vocabulary Programa Práctico Evaluación Participation in class (20%) and a final exam at the end of the course (80%) will conform the final grade. The final exam will consist of the following papers: - Dictation or reading comprehension. - Use of English: a test paper on grammatical structures and lexis. - Composition. - Oral exam.
