Water level / low water surcharge (LWS)
Dear customer,
We are informing you that the water level at Duisburg-Ruhrort is showing a trend towards the level under which our
LWS will be applicable. Please refer to the water level indicator www.elwis.de.
Today at 05:00 hrs the level was 286 cm. The forecast for 05:00 hrs coming Sunday, September 18th 2016 reads 263
cm, under the critical level of 270 cm, under which level our LWS-table is applicable. We therefore remind you that the
water levels prevailing at 05:00 hrs at the day of loading of the barges are decisive for the proper LWS-amount that
we will be invoiced by us. It is therefore expected that bookings for barges as from 18th of September will be subjected
to the LWS-system.
We will keep you informed during the LWS-situation of any further changes on a daily basis.

Wasserstand / Kleinwasserzuschlag (KWZ)
Sehr geehrte Kunden,
hiermit informieren wir Sie darüber, dass der Wasserpegel Duisburg-Ruhrort weiter absinken wird und der KWZ zum
Tragen kommt. Bitten beachten Sie den Wasserstand unter www.elwis.de.
Der heutige Wasserpegel um 5:00 Uhr lag bei 286 cm. Die Prognose für Sonntag, 18. September 2016 lautet 263 cm,
welche unterhalb der Marke von 270 cm gemäß unserer KWZ-Tabelle liegt. Die Berechnung des KWZ an Sie erfolgt
auf Basis des am Abfahrtstag um 5:00 Uhr ausgewiesenen Wasserstandes. Daher ist vorgesehen, dass Buchungen
für Binnenschiffe ab dem 18. September mit unserem KWZ-System belastet werden.
Während der Kleinwasser-Periode werden wir Sie täglich über den Wasserstand informieren.
