Beschreibung und Indikation
METAL-BITE ® GOLD in Automix-Doppelkartuschen ist ein automatisch
applizierbares, extrem schnelles und extrem hartes und präzises additionsvernetzendes universelles Registriermaterial auf Vinylpolysiloxanbasis (ASilikon), auch für die Bißgabel bei der Gesichtsbogenübertragung.
Eigenschaften
METAL-BITE ® GOLD zeichnet sich durch ausgezeichnete SCANEigenschaften aus (CAD/CAM/CIM-Impression Technology). Im Rahmen
einer Antagonisten-Registrierung beispielsweise mit CEREC ®-Kameras
(SIRONA) führt die puderfrei erstellte CAD/CAM-Aufnahme zu exzellenten
Kontrastverhältnissen, so daß feine morphologische Grenzen mit größter
Präzision dargestellt werden können.
METAL-BITE ® GOLD ist thixotrop, sehr gut schneid- und fräsbar, starr und
aufgrund der hohen Material-Gitterkonstanten nicht bröckelig. Registrate aus
METAL-BITE ® GOLD sind dauerhaft dimensionsstabil.
METAL-BITE ® GOLD wird in einer Automix-Doppelkartusche geliefert und
kann direkt und blasenfrei auf Okklusionsflächen etc. appliziert werden.
METAL-BITE ® GOLD erfüllt die Norm DIN 13903.
Hinweise zur Anwendung
1. Vorbereiten der Doppelkartusche/R-SI-LINE ® MISCHPISTOLE N
Bei der Erstanwendung wird der Originalitätsverschluß (nicht wieder benutzen!) von der Automix-Doppelkartusche entfernt. Die AutomixDoppelkartusche wird dann frontseitig in die MISCHPISTOLE N (Bestell-Nr.:
MIP1081) gesteckt und verriegelt. Zur Kontrolle wird ein wenig Material ohne
Mischkanüle ausgedrückt. Dann wird die R-SI-LINE ® MISCHKANÜLE aufgesetzt. Die MISCHPISTOLE N mit Automix-Doppelkartusche ist sofort applikationsbereit.
Für eine direkte, breite Applikation auf den Zahn sind zusätzlich die R-SI-LINE
® BITE-TIPS (Bestell-Nr.: BRT1000) vorgesehen.
2 a. Registrierung
Das automatisch gemischte METAL-BITE ® GOLD wird direkt auf die okklusalen Bereiche oder auf die Bißgabel zur Gesichtsbogenübertragung appliziert. Die Kauflächen sollten innerhalb von 20 s geschlossen werden. Das
Registrat kann nach insgesamt ca. 60 s dem Mund entnommen werden.
2 b. Datenerfassung (Antagonisten-Registrierung) für CAD/CAM/CIM
Das automatisch gemischte METAL-BITE ® GOLD wird direkt auf die präparierten Bereiche aufgetragen. Nach Aushärtung wird das Registrat mesial und
distal beschnitten. Anschließend kann mit der Kamera die mesiale, die abgeformte (die des Antagonisten) und die distale Okklusionsfläche optisch erfaßt
werden.
Die Zeitangaben gelten für 23 °C, höhere Temperaturen verkürzen, niedrigere verlängern diese. Zur Verlängerung der Verarbeitungszeit kann METALBITE ® GOLD im Kühlschrank auf niedrigere Temperaturen eingestellt werden.
3. Desinfektion
Das Registrat kann mit Standard-Desinfektionslösungen desinfiziert werden.
Besondere Hinweise zur Anwendung, Haltbarkeit und/oder Lagerung
Die nach der Benutzung gefüllte MISCHKANÜLE dient bis zur nächsten
Applikation als Verschluß. Die Automix-Doppelkartusche also nicht wieder mit
dem Originalitätsverschluß versehen (beim Verschließen mit dem
Originalitätsverschluß könnte infolge des Drehens eine gegenseitige
Kontamination von Basis und Katalysator erfolgen und ein unbeabsichtigtes
teilweises Aushärten bedingen).
Das Sicherheitsdatenblatt ist zu beachten (SDB >> www.r-dental.com).
Mindesthaltbarkeit siehe Etikett. Nach Ablaufdatum nicht mehr verwenden.
Nicht über 25 °C lagern! Nicht dem Sonnenlicht aussetzen. Für Kinder unzugänglich aufbewahren!
Die Registrate können über Monate ohne Schrumpfung aufbewahrt werden.
Unverträglichkeiten
Bisher sind keine Nebenwirkungen bei der Anwendung von
Vinylpolysiloxanen bekannt geworden. Sollten in Einzelfällen allergische
Reaktionen bei der Anwendung der Abformmaterialien auftreten, so ist der
Gebrauch einzustellen.

Description and indication
METAL-BITE ® GOLD in automixing cartridges is an extremely fast, hard and
precise addition curing registration material on vinyl poly-siloxane base (A-silicone) for bite-plates, too.
Characteristics
METAL-BITE ® GOLD is excellent scanable (CAD/CAM/CIM-Impression
Technology). In the case of an antagonist registration procedure for example
with CEREC ®-cameras (SIRONA) the powderfree optical registration will
lead to excellent contrast results, so that finest morphological details can be
visualized with highest precision.
METAL-BITE ® GOLD is thixotropic, very suitable for cutting and contouring,
inflexible and not crumbly because of its high material lattice-constant.
Registrations of METAL-BITE ® GOLD are permanently dimensionally stable.
METAL-BITE ® GOLD is delivered in auto-mixing cartridges and can be directly and bubblefree syringed onto the occlusal areas and so on.
METAL-BITE ® GOLD meets the requirements of the standard DIN 13903.
Recommended procedures
1. Preparing the auto-mixing cartridge/R-SI-LINE ® MIXING PISTOL N
First remove the original cap (do not re-use!) from the cartridge. Then introduce the auto-mixing cartridge into the MIXING PISTOL N (Order-No.:
MIP1081) and lock it. As a check press out a small amount of material without mixing cannula. Then screw on the mixing cannula R-SI-LINE ® MIXING
CANNULA. The MIXING PISTOL N is ready for application.
For direct, broaden application onto the teeth use the R-SI-LINE ® BITE-TIPS
(Order-No.: BRT1000).
2 a. Registration
The automatically mixed METAL-BITE ® GOLD is applied directly onto the
occlusal areas or onto the bite-plate. The occlusion should be done within 20
s. The registrate can be taken out of the mouth totally after about 60 s.
2 b. Data registration (antagonist-registration) for CAD/CAM/CIM
The automatically mixed METAL-BITE ® GOLD is applied directly onto the
prepared occlusal areas. After hardening the antagonist registrate will be prepared mesial and distal. Then the mesial, the registrated (of the antagonist)
and the distal occlusal area can be optically registered.
Times mentioned for 74 °F. Higher temperatures shorten, lower temperatures
prolong these times. The working time of the material can be prolonged by
adjust R-SI-LINE METAL-BITE ® down to the temperature of a refrigerator.
3. Disinfection
The registrates can be disinfected with standard disinfection solutions.
Special storage and/or handling conditions
The filled MIXING CANNULA functions as a seal until the next application. Do
not re-use the cartridge cap. Closing the cartridge by turning on the original
cap between use could cause cross contamination of base - and catalyst
paste and thus premature setting.
Keep attention on the material safety data sheet (MSDS >> www.rdental.com).
Shelf life see label. Do not use after expiry date.
Do not store above 25 °C (77 °F)! Avoid exposure to sunlight. Keep out of the
reach of children!
The bite registrates can be stored over months without shrinkage.
Incompatibilities
Until now no side effects are known in the application of vinyl polysiloxanes.
Discontinue using the products if allergic reactions are observed.
