Come to the CWAJ Art Gala on October 8th for a memorable evening to raise funds
for CWAJ’s scholarships and relief projects in Fukushima!
A marvelous array of exclusive items will be yours for the bidding during the live and
silent auctions, including rare prints by Masanori Murai, Fumio Kitaoka, Junichiro
Sekino, and others. In addition to Japanese prints, other original artworks will be
among the unique auction items, including works by Toko Shinoda and Mai Miyake.
Luxury onsen stays, gorgeous jewelry, and unique opportunities like getting to go
backstage during filming with director/producer Yoko Narahashi, 1969 CWAJ Travel
Grantee, are among the many special and fun auction items.
In addition to the excitement of the live and silent auctions, enjoy delicious food and
wine, and live entertainment beginning with a taiko performance by KODO star soloist,
Masayuki Sakamoto. Jon Kabira, noted entertainment, arts and culture commentator
on TV and radio will be the auctioneer.

この度 CWAJ では、初の試みとして CWAJ 奨学金プログラムの為のファンドレイジングパーテ
ィーを開催することとなりました。海外で勉強したい女子大学院生、日本で学んでいる海外か
らの女子留学生、視覚障害学生、また福島の被災学生を支援するための CWAJ 奨学金プログラム
を、このガラパーティーを通じてご支援頂けましたら、大変有難く存じます。
