Those who’ve been to the most beautiful of all the islands

exclusive range of 04651/ offers, named after the area code of Sylt, the dreamy
island in the North Sea. Founder Lars Braun puts it in a nutshell: “My idea was
to design a collection that I would bring along for a trip in my own carry-all.”
04651/ presents a small but sophisticated selection of essentials for men. The
new Autumn/Winter Collection of 2016/17 focuses on precious cashmere, slim chinos,
solid, masculine chunky knit as well as relaxed nylon windbreakers. In short: the ideal
balance of effortless elegance, outstanding comfort and a relaxed casual feeling. The range
is complemented with subtly coordinated bags, shoes and accessories.
All the designs are developed on Sylt and production is exclusively carried out in Europe.
“It was an exciting challenge to deliver a timeless interpretation of modernity. 04651/
represents a muted look that will last beyond the seasonal speed of fashion and is not
defined by short-lived trends,” Lars Braun comments.

imeless classics like chinos and Bermuda shorts with a contemporary cut
are available in fashionable colours and high-quality fabrics. Robust yet
soft cottons, some of which are textured, are pleasant to the touch – sturdy
piqué, heavy, soft jersey and high-quality linen all offer real comfort and a
relaxed look. Following the Sylt heritage, the focus is on a maritime colour
scheme. White goes really well with all shades of blue, usually used in a
ggarment-dyeing

always the same: 04651/’s luxurious jumpers are exclusively made in Biella in Northern
Italy. The region is legitimately famous for its top-notch production sites and their decades-long tradition of outstanding craftsmanship. A rich hand, a magnificent volume and a
perfect fit – the premium garments are even made of 9-ply cashmere. The range of colours
represents masculine nonchalance; blue, black and grey are the dominating colours whereas loud tones were left out altogether. This natural approach was even considered in the
gentle dyeing process we used. Shirts and polo shirts made of soft cotton complement the
range. Textured jersey and light piqué look good in a modern fit that is slim but doesn’t
compromise on comfort.

ylt has two faces: on the one hand, there is the fierce roughness of its
seaward side, on the other hand there is the idyllic scenery of the Wadden
Sea. The interplay of both conveys a sense of tranquillity and security.
04651/ represents a genuineness underneath the polished surface, a new
kind of luxuriousness that is quiet and subdues, close to nature and autonomous.
04651/ is sturdy like the maram grass of the dunes that sways in the wind during the
entire year, irrespective of the adverse, sandy ground or windy and rough conditions, and
it focuses on quality just as well as on the right balance of tradition and modernity. Nature
as a source of inspiration for 04651/ enables us to keep a clear mind in a fast-paced world
and position ourselves just in-between moving too fast and absolute quietness.
“Sylt, you are just like they say, but still so different.” – Kampen, Keitum, Westerland, from
the elbow-shaped peak down to Hörnum: Sylt has been a dream destination since the
1920s –and the 1960s finally saw the Sylt myth evolve thanks to playboy Gunter Sachs and

enjoy a blend of Mediterranean cuisine and regional fare. Depending
on the catch of the day, turbot, plaice, sea trout, cod, grey mullet, and,
if you’re lucky, sea bass, will find their way on the menu. Their wine
menu is a real treat: Sven Rurup, owner of the Strandmuschel, has
been going on wine tours in German wine-growing regions at least once a year for
a long time now. Sylt connoisseurs know that the sunsets in the dunes are extraordinary, and will be even more unforgettable with a glass of good white wine.
