Preliminary Experiment for Finding Element Making Verbalization of
Motor Skill
 We found that it was effective to use advising on movement of others for acquiring motor skill.
However it is difficult that we convince others of motor skill, because motor skill is tacit knowledge.
Therefore we contrive verbalizing motor skill support system.
 The following is the approach of our system. Our system acquire skeleton frame from Kinect. Then
coach move articulation node of skeleton. At that time, coach’s knack of motor skill becomes
explicit knowledge. We think that it is the key to verbalizing motor skill.
 We experimented whether coach’s order and time to move articulation node of skeleton become
the element which make verbalization of motor skill. Coach moved articulation node twice changing
consciousness of the advice, and we observed two differences moving order and longest time. As a
result, coach moved the advice part first and longest time. In addition, we found that there was the
time changing consciousness of advice part, when coach moved articulation node. We think that it is
the important element which make verbalization of motor skill.
 In future work, we model what we found by the experiment. Then we construct support system into
which we introduce the method of verbalizing motor skill by using the model.
