– Describes an event before it happens
• ～てから
– Describe an event after which another thing
happens.
Quick’n’Dirty
• For ~前に:
– Verb A (plain form) + 前に, verb B
• For ~てから
– Verb A (te form) + から, verb B
How can you use it?
• 僕の家にかえる前に、ATMに行きます。
– I will go to the ATM before returning to my
home.
What about the other one?
• 朝ごはんを食べてから、クラスに行きました。
– I ate breakfast and then went to school.
