Students writing reports in English, reading books, and chatting in English
 First floor - Multilingual Common Lounge (MC Lounge)
1 階‐多言語交流コモンラウンジ
Staff and current students from Tokushima University can freely use this area to chat
with each other in a variety of languages. It is open for anyone to use anytime. Various
events with multicultural and multilingual students are held here.
ここでは、徳島大学の在学生やスタッフ等が自由に様々な言語でチャットする場です。誰でも、い
つでも使用できます。多言語、多文化の学生達の交流イベントも実施しています。
 Second floor – English Learning Communication Space (ELCS)
2 階－英語学習コミュニケーションプラザ
Various classes are held here to help students improve their English skills. Current
students can freely participate in these classes. There is also a large collection of books
and DVDs that students can borrow, or students can come here to study. Staff and
student assistants are on duty between Monday and Friday from 10:25am-17:30pm
except during exam periods and school holidays so feel free to ask them any questions.
ここでは、徳島大学の在学生の英語スキルを高めるために様々なクラスが行われています。在学生
は自由に参加できます。ここには多数の本や DVD 等があり、学生は自由に借りることができて、
自習をすることもできます。試験期間と長期間休暇を除き、月曜日から金曜日の午前 10：25 から
午後 5：30 まで学生助手が在駐しています。何でも遠慮なく彼らに質問してください。
Message from the Language Education Center Manager
語学教育センター指導教員からのメッセージ：
This Center is a place for faculty and students of Tokushima University to speak in a
variety of languages in order to engage in and learn about cross-cultural communication,
as well as to increase global understanding. I encourage you to come here, participate in
cross-cultural communication, make friends, and make your student life more fulfilling.
For those who would like to improve their English skills, please make use of the English
Learning Communication Space on the 2nd floor. We look forward to seeing you at the
Language Education Center.
語学教育センターは徳島大学の教員や学生が多言語による異文化コミュニケーションをとる場所、
学ぶ場所、グローバル理解を高める場所です。ぜひ、ここで異文化コミュニケーションをして、多
くの友人の作り、学生生活をより豊かにしてください。英語が上達したいと考えている人は、ぜひ
2 階の英語学習コミュニケーションプラザを活用してください。語学教育センターで会うのをお待
