～戦略的な CRM の成功と拡大、
規制関連ソリューション Vault の好調で総売上高は前年比 33％増収～

グプロバイダーである Veeva Systems Inc.【NYSE:VEEV】(本社 : カリフォルニア

以下、Veeva)は、2016 年 4 月 30 日を末日とする第 1 四半期の業績を発表しました。

Veevaのピーター・ガスナー最高経営責任者（CEO）は次のように述べています。

2017 年度第 1 四半期業績：

売上高：第 1 四半期の総売上高は 1 億 1,980 万ドルで、前年同期の 8,990 万
ドルから 33%の増収。第 1 四半期のサブスクリプション契約による売上高は
9,600 万ドルで、前年同期の 6,890 万ドルから 39%の増収となりました。

営業利益と Non-GAAP の営業利益：第 1 四半期の営業利益は 1,780 万ドル
で、前年同期の 2,090 万ドルから 15%減。第 1 四半期の Non-GAAP の営業
利益は 2,940 万ドルで、前年同期の 2,630 万ドルから 12%増となりました。

純利益と Non-GAAP の純利益：第 1 四半期の純利益は 1,250 万ドルで、前
年同期の 1,300 万ドルから 4%の減益。第 1 四半期の Non-GAAP の純利益は
2,120 万ドルで、前年同期の 1,710 万ドルから 23%の増益となりました。

1 株当たり利益と Non-GAAP の 1 株当たり利益：第 1 四半期の完全希薄化
後 1 株当たり利益は前年同期と同じ 0.09 ドルとなりました。これに対し、
Non-GAAP の完全希薄化後 1 株当たり利益は、前年同期の 0.12 ドルから 0.15
ドルとなりました。
Veevaのティム・カブラル最高財務責任者（CFO）は次のように述べています。
「第1四半期は非常に好調で、業績はガイダンスを上回り、高い成長率と収益性を

new-veeva-vault-qms-brings-next-generation-quality-management-to-lifesciences/≫を発表しました。これは、Veeva の製薬企業向け品質管理用製品
の中で 2 番目に重要なアプリケーションであると同時に、Vault 製品では 10
番目のアプリケーションとなります。さらに、グローバルな製品情報を単一
の信頼性の高いデータで管理することを可能にする Veeva Network Product

戦略的なコマーシャルクラウドの成功と拡大：第 1 四半期、製薬会社トップ
20 社のうち 1 社が、Veeva CRM の導入プロジェクトを 1 つの地域で開始し
ました。今後、時間をかけて、グローバルに導入される見込みです。また、
当四半期では、最近製薬会社トップ 10 社に入った当社顧客が、Veeva CRM
を新たな部門でも導入しました。
新製品の成功：2015 年 12 月に投入した規制関連の最新ソリューション、
Veeva Vault Registrations と Veeva Vault SubmissionsArchive は、今日まで
に 11 社で導入が決定され、その勢いを増しています。また、Veeva CRM の
最新アドオン機能である Veeva CRM Events Management と Veeva Align は、

とおりです。

総売上高は 1 億 2,550 万ドル～1 億 2,700 万ドル

Non-GAAP の営業利益は 3,000 万ドル～3,050 万ドル

Non-GAAP の完全希薄化後 1 株当たり利益は 0.13 ドル
2017 年度通年（2016 年 2 月～2017 年 1 月）の Veeva の財務見通しは下記のとおり
です。
