Veeva を活用

で 600 名を超える業界リーダーたちが集まる中、大手バイオ医薬品アウトソーシング企業であ
る inVentiv Health 社が、クライアントの治験実施施設立ち上げを効率化するため Veeva
Vault Clinical Suite 採用の拡大を発表しました。inVentiv Health 社は、業界トップクラスの
フル CRO 事業と業界唯一のコマーシャル＆コンサルティング事業（CCO）で構成されていま
す。Veeva Vault eTMF の使用で収めた成功に上乗せする形で、Veeva Vault Study
Startup を採用することによって、文書集約型による治験実施施設立ち上げを加速し、初回

inVentiv Health 社は、Vault Study Startup を使用することにより、治験審査委員会や規制当
局への治験の届出業務、文書の配布や追跡、治験実施施設との契約業務といった治験実施
施設立ち上げに関する複雑な作業を効率化できます。inVentiv Health 社は、ドキュメント、デ
ータ、臨床試験立ち上げ業務、これらすべての管理を単一のクラウドプラットフォーム上で行う
ことにより、臨床試験プロセスを効率化します。またステークホルダーは、共通で最新の臨床試
験情報に容易にアクセスできるため、協力関係が強化されます。さらには、Vault Study
Startup と Vault eTMF はシームレスな相互運用性を持つため、どちらのアプリケーションにお
いてもドキュメントやデータを確実に共有できます。
現在の臨床試験オペレーション環境は極めて複雑で、臨床試験の管理には、電子データキャ
プチャ（EDC）や臨床試験スタートアップアプリケーションに始まり、臨床試験管理システム
（CTMS）や電子治験マスターファイル（eTMF）に至るまで、20 を超すシステムが互換性のな
いまま用いられていることも珍しくありません。レガシーテクノロジーは治験依頼者、臨床試験
実施施設、CRO 各者間の効率、可視性、協力関係を制限します。実際に、業界全体を対象
に最近行われた調査によれば、回答者の半分近く（49%）が、重要だが未対応の要件として
eTMF と CTMS アプリケーションの統合を挙げています。1
