»Education for Change« Combining History Learning and Human Rights Education in Formal, Non-formal and Higher Education Book Launches & Symposium 29 & 30 September 2016, Freie Universität Berlin, Germany What opportunities offer combinations of human rights education and history learning/education for the learners that further development of both educational approaches? And what would such a combination look like in formal, non-formal and higher education? The joint presentation of the newly published Change handbook and the Crossing Borders anthology provide ideas and answers from theoretical and practice perspectives on combining history learning/education and human rights education approaches. The symposium offers contributions by experts as well as room for exchanges of ideas and practical exercises, and the development of strategies for implementing combined history learning/education and human rights education approaches.
