及び型式試験用試料について

日頃より当協会の事業にご理解・ご協力賜りまして誠にありがとうございます。
さて、近年「乗車用ヘルメット」の型式試験及び試買試験において不適合となる事例が散見されます。
つきましては、当協会では各登録事業者の皆様に下記の対応をお願いすることとなりました。ご協力の程、
よろしくお願い致します。
本件についてご不明な点がございましたら末記担当者までお尋ねください。

① 各位の社内にございます検査設備が日本工業規格（ＪＩＳ）Ｔ８１３３：２００７年（以下「ＪＩＳ」
という。
）に適合していることをご確認願います。特に、衝撃吸収性試験に用いる人頭模型については、
次表に適合することを必ずご確認下さい。

型式確認（更新を含む。
）申請時に提出する試験用試料は、当該型式確認の申請書に添付した社内検査
記録に記載されたモデル・型番として下さい。また、可能な限り社内検査に用いた製品と同じ製造ロット
のものを型式試験サンプルとして下さい。
③ 型式確認（更新を含む。
）申請時に提出する試験用試料のうち少なくとも１つはＪＩＳの規定に基づく
保護範囲及び試験範囲を全周に渡って線引きした状態のものを提出して下さい。

Thank you very much for your continued understanding for and cooperation with our business.
In recent years, there have been cases in which products fail a type examination and trial purchase test
for motorcycle helmets.
Therefore, we decided to request registered companies to do the following. We would appreciate your
cooperation.
If you have any question regarding this matter, please contact the person in charge listed at the end of
this letter.
(1) Please check that the inspection equipment that you have conforms to the Japan Industrial
Standards (hereinafter referred to as the “JIS”) T8133(2007). Especially for the headforms used in
impact absorption tests, please check that they conform to the following table.

(2) Test samples submitted at the time of application for type confirmation (including update) shall be of
the model and type number listed in the in-house inspection record attached to the type confirmation
application form. Additionally, to the extent possible, please use products which belong to the same
production lot with the products used in an in-house inspection as type examination samples.
(3) Among the test samples you submit at the time of application for type confirmation (including
update), please submit at least one of them with lines marked on the entire circumference indicating
the protection areas and test areas based on the provisions of the JIS.
