Important Notice about GPA Calculation
1. How to calculate GPA on the JASSO evaluation scale
Please note that the students are required to have a minimum GPA of 2.30 from the
previous year on the JASSO evaluation scale below. If the previous year's GPA is
unavailable, the GPA score may be calculated from the previous semester.
Please take the time to calculate GPA score carefully according to the JASSO evaluation scale.

(Attention)
1. If the students have taken courses that are not part of the credit system, replace the
number of credits in the GPA formula with the number of courses taken.
2. Round off to two decimal places. For example, 2.564 would be rounded 2.56, while 2.565 would
be rounded to 2.57.
2. Example of GPA calculation on the JASSO evaluation scale
In case your institution have a rating system: A (90-100), B(80-89), C(70-79), D(60-69), F(59 or lower),
the GPA is calculated as follows.
If your institution has a different scale for grading system, please refer the calculating table to
convert the grade to the grade point

１．留学生交流支援制度(短期受入れ)　成績評価係数　計算方法について
JASSO(日本学生支援機構）「留学生交流支援制度(短期受入れ)奨学金」に推薦されるためには、JASSO
が定める計算方法による成績評価係数が２．３以上であることが条件となります。
以下の表により「成績評価ポイント」に換算した上、計算式に当てはめて成績評価係数を算出してください。

（注意事項）
１．履修した授業について単位制を採らない場合は、科目数をすべて単位数に置き換えて計算すること。
２．算出後、週数点第３位を四捨五入すること。
2.計算例
成績評価方法がA (90-100), B(80-89), C(70-79), D(60-69), F(59以下)の場合の算出方法です。
もし貴校のグレードシステムが異なる場合は、上述の成績評価ポイント換算表に従って、それぞれ
のグレードに相当する成績評価ポイントを算出し、以下のように成績評価係数を算出します。
