Application for AY2016 Tuition Fees Exemption for Graduate
students who have completed the Undergraduate English Programs
Students who apply for the Tuition Fees Exemption for AY 2016 are required to read
this guideline thoroughly and submit all required documents accordingly.
1. Eligibility
Students who have enrolled the Graduate School after completing the Undergraduate
Course in English in Tsukuba University and those recognized as having outstanding
academic capabilities as well as having difficulty in paying tuitions due to financial
reasons.
2. Required Application Documents
(1) Application Form for AY2016 Tuition Fees Exemption
(2) Students who have enrolled the Graduate programs before 2016: Recommendation
Form1 which approves outstanding academic capabilities.
Students who have enrolled in 2016: Recommendation Form1 which approves academic
excellence in certain fields for students with Average Grade Score of less than 4.3.

(3) Other additional supporting documents notified individually during the process of
evaluation.

5. Waived amount of tuition fee
Full amount of 1 year tuition fee
6. Remarks
Do not pay any tuition fees until the decision of approval or disapproval is made. Students
with disapproval result will be re-entered to the selection of general tuition fees exemption
as an applicant. Students who receive disapproval result this time shall pay the tuition fee
promptly.
- Notification of the result of the Tuition Fees Exemption will be posted on the bulletin board.
It is applicants’ responsibility to confirm their own results.
- Personal information obtained from the submitted documents will be handled carefully and
be used only for the purpose of the selection of applicants for the tuition fees exemption.

「学群英語コースから大学院へ進学した者」の
平成２８年度特別授業料免除について
このことについて「学群英語コースから大学院へ進学した者に係る授業料免除」制度により特別授業料
免除を希望する者は、以下の事項を熟読のうえ申請をしてください。
１．免除の対象となる者
本学の学群英語コースから大学院に進学した学生で、在学中の学業成績が特に優れ、経済的に著しく
困窮していると認められる者
２．申請書類
申請に必要な書類は次のとおりです。
(1) 平成２８年度授業料免除申請書
(2) 平成２８年度入学者以外：学業成績が特に優れていると認められる推薦書推薦書（様式１）
平成２８年度入学者：成績の平均値が次の計算式により４．３未満の者については、特定分野におけ
る学業成績が特に優れていると認められる推薦書（様式１）
（Ａ+ 及びＡの単位数×５）＋（Ｂの単位数×３）＋（Ｃの単位数×２）

(3) その他選考にあたって必要であると本学が指示したもの（該当者には、後日改めて指示します）

３．申請書類提出先

５．免除の額
納付すべき１年間の授業料の全額
６．その他
免除の許可・不許可が判明するまでの間は、免除を申請した者の授業料の徴収を猶予します。
なお、
「学群英語コースから大学院に進学した者」の授業料免除が不許可となった場合は、一般の授業
料免除により判定します。一般の授業料免除で不許可となった場合は、速やかに授業料を納付してくだ
さい。
●免除等の決定告知等については全て掲示にて周知しますので、掲示を確認するようにしてください。
●提出された申請書及び各種証明書類等により取得した個人情報については、授業料免除等の選考業務以
外には使用いたしません。
