The Chair of Constitutional and Administrative Law, Public International Law, European and
International Economic Law (Professor Hans-Georg Dederer) at the University of Passau
invites applications for the position of
Graduate Assistant / Senior Graduate Assistant
starting 1 July 2016 or 1 August 2016.
This is a part-time position, amounting to 0.33 full time equivalent (FTE), based on a limitedterm contract valid for a period of one year, with the option of renewal.
Your responsibilities
•
Select, supervise, organise and coach 5 students who will participate in the Philip C.
Jessup International Moot Court Competition.
•
Travel with the team to the trial pleadings, the German elimination rounds and, if
possible, the international finals in Washington, D.C.
Personal requirements
•
First or Second Judicial State Examination with a minimum overall grade of 'fully
satisfactory' or an equivalent (e.g., master's) degree in Law.
•
You must have in-depth knowledge of Public International Law and very good English
language skills as well as the ability to supervise and motivate a team. Ideally, you will
have perviously participated in a moot court competition.

agreement TV-L, salary level dependent on qualifications and experience.
