JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title : Specialist, HR Department/Section : Human Resources Group Reports to : Manager, HR Group I. Position Summary The incumbent provides support to Manager in all the aspects to accomplish various goals of the Group and works in cooperation with other team members to improve the work environments and design/implement program and policies market competitive to motivate employees and retain our talents. II. Responsibility and Authority Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: 1. Assist HR Manager in implementing HR strategies, projects and programs that will help attain Company employees’ objectives. 2. Compensation, Recognition & Benefits Manage monthly payroll arranged appropriately Participate in salary and benefits survey periodically and review the Company salary range and benefit programs Identify employee compensation inequities and recommend potential adjustments based on compensation guidelines Design, propose, manage and review compensation, recognition and benefit programs Manage the administrative work of these programs 3. Performance Management Improve the contents of the Company Performance Program Plan and educate our managers and employees on the concepts and/or improvement Make sure the goal setting and appraisal are conducted in line with the schedule 4. Maintain Work Rules, guidelines and policies updated in compliance with related legal acts in cooperation with other team members 5. Work with Manager to resolve labor issues 6. Work with Manager and/or German HQs HR and other countries’ HR colleagues to launch HQs initiate programs 7. Respond to various enquiries from managers and employees and/or resolve issues 8. Maintain the Employees’ records and data in various HR systems/tools 9. Any other duties/projects as assigned by the Group Manager. Updated as of April 1, 2013 Page 1 of 2 Private & Confidential III. Education and Experience Requirement 1. 5 or more years of experiences in Human Resources, preferably in a MNC environment. 2. Good understanding and knowledge in employment legislations and social security system in Japan. 3. A good command of the English language is a must. (TOEIC 700 or above) 4. Able to work under stress to meet tight deadlines and handling multiple tasks 5. Strong customer oriented mindset and ability to build lasting relationships 6. Various qualifications in HR area are plus e.g. consultant on social & labor insurance, safety & health supervisor, etc. 7. Experience of SAP system is a plus 8.
