FREUDWERK stands for the highest demands in design and manufacture. Der Gründer Matthias Scherzinger sammelte jahrelang als Schreiner Erfahrung im Umgang mit Holz; vom traditionellen Handwerk bis hin zu modernsten Bearbeitungstechniken. Über den Fachbereich Innenarchitektur wechselte er zum Industriedesign. Bei zahlreichen Inund Auslandsaufenthalten, unter anderem bei Joseph Walsh Studio, Irland, vertiefte er sein Wissen. Over several years as a carpenter, joiner and cabinetmaker the founder Matthias Scherzinger accumulated a profound knowledge in the application of timber, ranging from traditional handwork up to the most modern processing techniques. He then went on to the field of interior design before switching to industrial design. He has gathered valuable internation al experience in Finland, Switzerland, England and Ireland where he worked with the Joseph Walsh studio. 2014 kehrte er in seine Heimat, den Südschwarzwald, zurück und gründete das Label FREUDWERK. 0.06 In 2014 he returned to his home in the Black Forest and established the Label FREUDWERK.
