Download / Installation instructions for Auf geht’s! Download instructions: 1. Click on the “Download Auf geht’s! interactive (Windows) link found on the Auf geht’s! Windows download page: http://www.aufgehts.com/?product=auf-‐gehts-‐3-‐4-‐interactive-‐windows 2. Add only one software installation to your shopping cart, then click on “Proceed to Checkout”. 3. Click on the “Have a coupon?” bar near the top and enter your download code included with your text purchase. If you do not have a coupon, enter your credit card information to purchase the software. Make sure to enter your name and email address correctly, as your receipt will be emailed to that email address. 4. A link to your interactive software installer will now appear under “Order Details” and will also be included in your email. The link will expire after a few days, so make sure to download it soon after purchase. Installation instructions 5. When the download is complete, go to your downloads folder (found at C:/users/USER/downloads) and double-‐click on the aufgehts_2015_setup icon. This will begin your installation. 6. The Welcome to Auf geht’s! 2015 Setup Wizard window will appear. Click on Next. 7. Read the user agreement and accept it if you wish to continue. Click Next. 8. Click Next to confirm your installation Folder, then click install – this may take a few minutes. When prompted, click Done. 9. Shortcuts on your desktop and in the Start menu will run the interactive. 10. When you first run the program, you will have to enter your name. As this will be printed on all homework printouts, make sure you name is spelled correctly. 11. Auf geht’s! requires that you have Quicktime installed. If prompted when trying to run Auf geht’s!, download Quicktime from Apple http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/. Auf geht’s! will not run without QuickTime properly installed. 12. Auf geht’s! provides a way to enter all of the German characters. If you also want to activate your German keyboard, go to our support page below.
