Simon Preisenberger joined Watson Farley & Williams as a partner in 2008. He specialises in private
equity, M&A and corporate law. In particular, he advises German and international private equity funds
on transactions in the mid-cap sector.
Previously, he worked for the German multidisciplinary firm Haarmann Hemmelrath where he was
promoted to partnership in 2001. With other partners, he founded the boutique law firm Oldenbourg
Plus in 2005 which merged with Watson Farley & Williams in 2008.
JUVE Handbook says he is a “frequently recommended lawyer” for private equity and venture capital.
He has been selected by his peers as a “Best Lawyer in Germany” for private equity and venture capital.
