Internship in Private Equity ECI Partners is a growth focused private equity firm. We back ambitious management teams of businesses valued between £20m and £150m to help them maximise their growth potential (think Dragon’s Den, but without the dragons!). We are looking for 2 enthusiastic undergraduate interns to join us for the summer to help our team with the screening and identification of potential investment targets. This may involve market mapping exercises, research projects into market trends and high level analysis of the commercial and financial attractiveness of individual businesses. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into the private equity sector, develop your commercial acumen and work closely with a small team of experienced and friendly professionals, all while making a real contribution to our business. Who is this internship for? The internship is open to all 2nd and subsequent year undergraduates, including current year finalists. We look for interns who are: - Enthusiastic- with a desire to learn and to do a thorough job Self-starters- driven and able to use their initiative Commercially aware Interested in what makes a good business Good Excel and PowerPoint skills are also required. We do not have a preference in terms of degree subject and no prior experience in the financial services sector is necessary. We are looking for intelligent people with a natural interest in business and private equity who can learn on the job. Duration You are required to commit to a minimum of 8 weeks but the internship can last up to 12 weeks if you are available. Start date We are reasonably flexible on the start date.
