müssen. A&DM liefert dabei Services, die sowohl strukturierte als auch unstrukturierte Informationen bearbeiten können. Der wirkungsvolle Einsatz von Big Data hilft
Klienten somit, optimale Geschäftsergebnisse zu erzielen. Die Hard- und Software
sowie die Services, die nötig sind, um ein optimales Umfeld für Big Data-Analysen zu
schaffen, wird in einer Vielzahl verschiedener Modelle angeboten - Von der On-Premise-Lösung bis hin zu komplett bereitgestellten Umgebungen in der Private oder
Public Cloud von HP.
Martin Risau, der als Experte im Bereich der Business-Software und der Geschäftsentwicklung gilt, ist 2011 zu HP gestoßen. Zuvor hatte der Datenspezialist verschiedene Schlüsselpositionen bei SAP bekleidet. Der im Silicon Valley ansässige Martin
Risau hat an der Universität Köln zwei Mastertitel in Betriebswirtschaftslehre und
Wirtschaftswissenschaften erlangt.

Résumé
Martin Risau is Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Analytics & Data
Management Practice (A&DM) organization within HP’s Enterprise Services business.
This organization delivers solutions that address the most challenging problems
companies face in managing information and data assets. A&DM provides services
to handle both structured and unstructured data, leveraging “big data” to drive business outcomes for clients. The hardware, software and services required to provide
optimized big data and analytics environments is provided in a number of different
deployment and commercial models – from “on-premise” through management and
hosting services to “fully-managed” on HP private and public cloud environments.
Martin, who is known for his software business expertise as well as his exceptional
proficiency in operations and business development, joined HP early in 2011. Prior to
HP, Martin held several key leadership roles at SAP.
Martin holds two Masters Degrees in Economics and Business Administration from
the University of Cologne. He is based in Silicon Valley, Calif.
