機関の説明：
材料開発工学は、化学を中心に物理・数学・生物など幅広い基礎学問を土台として、化学製品の合成か
ら、物性、応用、生産・加工技術に至る一連のプロセスを環境と人間の関係を視野に入れながら開発する
工学分野であり、化学製品の川下から川上までをカバーできる「知」の高度化を目指した教育と研究を行
っている。
Variety of research and education based on chemistry, physics biochemistry, and mathematics are
carried out in the department of Materials Science & Engineering. Especially the researches and
education for prosperity of mankind were carried out from view of the sustainability.
[仕事内容(業務内容、担当科目等)]
専門分野：無機固体材料の設計と合成、構造解析、物性評価、または新規なエネルギー・環境プロセスの
開拓など触媒化学を基盤とした教育研究。現在の研究分野は問わないが、触媒化学の新しい概念や基
礎的な学理の構築、反応プロセスの設計開発に強い意欲があり、学部、大学院教育、国際的な教育研究
に熱意をもって取り組む方を求める。

担当授業：大学院教育では、材料開発工学教育分野に関する教育科目を担当する。また、基幹教育（全
学教育）や工学部材料開発工学科において、無機化学や物理化学の分野の教育科目も担当する。
Applicants should have a doctoral degree and a substantial performance in such areas as Sciences for
Sustainable Development, Inorganic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.
Preference will be given to those applicants fully qualified at the associate professor level. The
successful candidate will conduct research and teach some major subjects in Inorganic Chemistry in
Japanese and English.
