Later, he went on to study at Southern Cross University in his native country. There were 300 applicants but only 10 places available. He tried holding his brother’s guitar when he was six years old and felt comfortable with it. Although he did not know how to hold down the strings, his right hand naturally plucked them. “I did not choose the guitar. He immediately fell in love with Japan at the age of 21 when he visited the country through the Japan Center at his university. In 2015 he released a new song, “The Prayer” and is becoming busier with his music. He loves a challenge and is aiming to The Prayer pass the Japanese Language Proficiency Test N1 in order to perfect his already fluent Japanese. 一 度はオーストラリアに帰国したものの、2014 年 いち ど き こく ねん に再び来日し、今は東 京 に住んでいます。2015 年に ふたた らいにち いま とうきょう す ねん は新 曲 「The Prayer」をリリースし、自身の音 楽 活 しんきょく release じ しん おんがくかつ 動 も忙 しさを増 しています。 挑 戦 することが大 好 き どう いそが ま ちょう せん だい す 本の文化について話を聞かされたり、空手に通ったり な性格で、 流 暢 な日 本 語にさらに磨きをかけるべく、 していたのでトラビスさんには自然な流れでした。大 今年は日 本 語 能 力 試験 N1 にも 挑 戦します。 ほん ぶん か はなし き から て し ぜん かよ なが だい 学 内のジャパン・センターを通じて 21 歳で初 来 日す がくない Japan center つう さい はつらいにち ると、たちまち日本が大好きになりました。卒 業 後 に ほん だい す そつぎょう ご は、福井県の大学で英語 教 師として働き、隣の高 校 ふく い けん だいがく えい ご きょう し はたら でギター講師も務めました。 こう し となり こうこう つと After that, Travis began his professional career as a musician in earnest. I stay by their side, listen to their thoughts and dreams and tailor my lessons to suit each of them,” says Travis.
