Fall 2015 Application Guide for Study Abroad Program
(Including JASSO Scholarship Application)
The Graduate School of System Design and Management （SDM） offers its own
international exchange program to its students. In principle, each participating student will
visit a partner school for a period of one semester, and a maximum of 10 credits may be
recognized toward an SDM Master’s degree from exchange studies, based on the approval
by the SDM faculty committee. Outgoing students pay tuition fees to Keio University during
their visiting period and are exempt from admission fees and tuition fees at host institutions.
Application for Spring 2016 will be open as follows for those who are interested in studying
abroad for a short term.
Exchange Partner Schools：
1. TU Delft, Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management (the Netherlands)
2. Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Department of Management, Technology
and Economics (ETH Zurich D-MTEC, Switzerland)
3. Politecnico di Milano, Management Engineering Programme (Italy)
4. Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Toulouse (INSA Toulouse, France)
5. University of Copenhagen, Faculty of Humanities/Faculty of Political Science (Denmark)
Note: In addition to the above, a limited number of exchange visits on visiting student status may be
available to: Purdue University, College of Engineering; Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT),
Engineering Systems Division; University of Cambridge, Department of Engineering. SDM students will
conduct research work/projects during the visit and are not eligible to take classes (no course credits can be
earned). Exchange visit to these schools are contingent on approval by the hosting institution. Please ask
SDM faculty in charge or SDM Office for more details.

Japanese citizens and foreigners who holds permanent resident status may qualify for a
JASSO scholarship of JPY 80,000/month.

Late submissions and incomplete documents will not be accepted
Candidate eligibility：
(1) Full-time SDM student status
(2) TOEFL-ITP score of 527 or more, or
TOEFL iBT score of 70 or more
*Note: those who wish to go to MIT or Cambridge must
have ITP score of 577 or more or iBT score of 90 or more

students must obtain his/her academic advisor’s approval before
applying, and submit the application package with the academic advisors’
stamp (inkan) or signature on the application form.

The screening is based on the comprehensive evaluation of application
documents, academic performance, interview, and English ability.
Tuition and Fees： Each participating student will pay tuition fee and other fees at Keio
and will not be assessed additional tuition or fees by the Host Institution.
Travel and transportation (domestic and international) costs, food,
housing, textbooks, and other personal fees are not included as part of
the exchange program and are to be borne by the individual participating
students.

2015 年度秋期派遣交換留学募集要項
（ＪＡＳＳＯ奨学金申請を含む）
システムデザイン・マネジメント（SDM）研究科には、研究科独自の交換留学制度があり、提携先
の学科・研究科に原則として一学期間滞在し、講義の受講や研究を行うことができます。留学先
の大学で取得した単位は、SDM 研究科委員会の承認により、学則に定められた範囲内で最大 10
単位まで修了に必要な単位として認定されることがあります。派遣生は留学中、慶應義塾大学に
授業料を納入し、派遣先大学での授業料は免除されます。2016 年度春学期派遣交換留学生の
募集を以下のとおり行いますので、留学に興味のある方はぜひ応募してください。
今回の募集対象となる提携大学
１デルフト工科大学技術・政策・管理学科（オランダ）
２スイス連邦工科大学チューリッヒ校管理技術工学科（スイス）
３ミラノ工科大学管理・経済・産業工学科（イタリア）
４フランス国立理工科大学トゥールーズ校（フランス）
５コペンハーゲン大学人文学部・社会学部（文化人類学専攻・政治学専攻）（デンマーク）
（注）上記に加え、パデュー大学工学部（アメリカ）、マサチューセッツ工科大学 Engineering
Systems Division（アメリカ）、ケンブリッジ大学工学部（イギリス）に visiting student として若
干名が研究滞在できる場合があります。正式な学生交換留学協定が締結されていません
ので、留学中の主な活動は研究活動・プロジェクト活動となり、授業の履修や単位取得はで
きません。また、先方の大学との相談の結果、受け入れられない可能性もあります。詳細

今回の募集では、月額 8 万円（募集人数：若干名）の奨学金プログラムの募集も合わせて行いま
す。この奨学金は独立行政法人日本学生支援機構（ＪＡＳＳＯ）から慶應義塾大学を通じて支給さ
れます。JASSO 奨学金は国籍・成績および家計状況等に条件があり、条件に合致しない場合は
受給ができません。

募集期間：

提出期限および時間厳守。締切後の提出書類や不備書類は受理しない。
出願資格：
（１）SDM 研究科正規課程在学者
（2）TOEFL-ITP 527 点以上または TOEFL iBT 70 点以上の
英語力を有すること ※マサチューセッツ工科大学および
ケンブリッジ大学への留学希望者は、TOEFL-ITP 577 点
以上または TOEFL iBT 90 点以上の英語力を有すること
提出書類：
（1）派遣交換留学生申込書 Application Form（所定用紙）
（2）英文履歴書 CV Form （所定用紙）
（3）TOEFL スコアレポート（コピー可）
（4）成績表（新入生で成績が出せない場合は学部のもの）
出願方法：
書類持参（事務室開室時間）またはメール送付
※2 年生は必ず指導教員の承認および署名（印）を受けた
書面を事務室に提出すること。

選考は、提出書類、学業成績、面接選考および英語力を総合的に判断して決

留学先での登録料と授業料は免除されるが、渡航費、生活費、教科書代等そ
の他の留学諸経費は個人負担とする。
