Hygiene measures for disasters from heavy rain
おおあめなどによるさいがいじ
のえいせいたいさく
Should inundation above or under floor level result from heavy rain caused by the rainy
season or the typhoons, first, clean the damaged area, second, wash and wipe the mud
off the walls and floors and then dry them up.
つゆやたいふうによるおおあめなどで、ゆかうえゆかしたしんすいが
おきたときは、まずしんすいかしょのかたづけをして、かべやゆかめん
のみずあらい・みずふきによりよごれをおとしたあと、かんそうさせましょう。
It is also advised that before putting anything in the mouth, wash your hands
thoroughly and cook your meals with adequate heat as the risk of food poisoning rises at
this time of the year.
またしょくちゅうどくなどもはっせいしやすくなっているので、よく
てあらいをして、しょくひんはじゅうぶんかねつしてからたべるように
しましょう。
Those who’d like to get the flooded area disinfected, please contact Environment
Protection Section after cleaning and drying up the area completely.
