Rotary International District 2750 ROTARY CLUB OF TOKYO HIROO International Friendship / a bilingual club 大垣会長年度 2015 年 11 月 5 日 第 581 号 第 656 回例会 10 月 22 日 宮村 SAA 委員 号 ■大垣会長 President Ohgaki 本日は、ゲスト・スピーカーとして米山奨学生のナエレさんに来ていただいています。世界中の多くの避難民の話を 聞く昨今、タイムリーに来ていただきました。そしてケニア水支援プロジェクトについては今月ＲＩ財団の承認がおりま したが、こちらもタイムリーにアオリさんをお迎えすることができました。 このプロジェクトは、アオリさんが広尾ロータリーのメンバーであり、駐日ケニア大使であった２００８年にスタートしま したが、このプロジェクトの生みの親であると申せます。また、今回のプロジェクトでもアオリさんには大きな支援をい ただきました。 このプロジェクトは、２７５０地区の７つのクラブの支援をいただいていますが、本日は、支援クラブである東京中央 新ロータリーならびに東京白金ロータリーからケニア合同委員会のメンバーにも来ていただいています。また、新しく ケニア合同委員会に参加していただいた東京成城新ロータリークラブから会長にお出でいただきました。 Today we have many visitors and guests and it is timely to have Ms. Aligholikhamseh Nayereh (Yoneyama Scholarship Student from Iran) as a guest speaker when we hear many news of refugees all over the world and it is also timely to have Mr.Awori here at the time we have got the approval for the Kenya Water Project by RI International this month. This project started in the year 2008 when Mr.Awori was the member of Rotary Club of Tokyo Hiroo and Ambassador of the Republic of Kenya to Japan. I would say he is the father of the Kenya Water Project and he did a lot to support this approved project. This project has been supported by 7 supporting clubs in the district 2750. Today we have members of the Kenya water project joint committee from RC of Tokyo Chuo Shin and RC of Tokyo Shirokane and the President of RC of Tokyo Seijo Shin is here as a new member of the joint committee.
