KARYO WEEKLY KIITOS KAIKILLE Hi, everyone! I’m Essi Pajari, an exchange student at Karyo. It’s been almost a year since I came to Japan. That means I have to go back to Finland in just a couple of days. I had an amazing year here, thanks to all of you. I made so many wonderful memories, which I will definitely treasure for the rest of my life. When I first came to Karyo, I felt super nervous. I was not so good at speaking Japanese, and I knew nothing about Japanese high school life. Everyone at Karyo was so friendly and helped me a lot, so I felt relieved soon. Thank you very much! There are a lot of things that made me love the school life at Karyo. Some small things always made me happy. For example, I love greeting each other, talking while cleaning the school, and putting our desks together before eating lunch. The list just goes on and on. I also enjoyed all of your school events. Class matches were always so much fun. While we were working hard as a class, I made many good memories and really felt part of the class. Another school event which I really loved was the school festival. Because we don’t have school Dear Karyo students, こんにちは。今回は、今週で交換留学プログラムを終了 No.455 し、フィンランドに帰国することになっている、エッシ・ FREE パヤリさんが、1 年間の思い出を書いてくれました。 festivals in Finland, I was so excited. Sports day, culture day and festival day were 3 days full of happiness. I enjoyed all of the performances, different ways to decorate classrooms, songs that all of the classes sang, baking with the cooking club, and so many other things. In other words, the school festival made me realize how much I love Karyo. I also went to Taiwan with the 2nd year students. Even though I was nervous at first, all of the 2nd year students were so friendly and talked a lot with me. That is why I think we had a great time together. I’m very happy that I was able to become friends and make many good memories with them. I am so grateful for the opportunity to become an exchange student at Karyo. I can’t imagine better school than Karyo. That is how much I love it here. I feel so sad to leave Japan and go back to Finland. I’m going to miss everyone and everything. Let’s stay positive and think that we have to be far apart to meet again. I’m looking forward to meeting you again. Thank you very much. Read Essi’s article and choose the statements that are true. 1.
