
博士の学位または PhD を有する方、または着任までに取得見込みの方

計算機科学に基礎を置いた応用分野において、研究上の業績を有する方

他分野との連携により新しい分野を切り開く意欲と熱意のある方

学部での教育・研究に対して意欲と熱意のある方

演習や実験において指導ができる方

① 履歴書（写真添付、連絡先と E-mail アドレス、高等学校卒業以降の学歴・職歴を
明記）
② 業績リスト（著書、審査付学術論文、審査付国際会議論文、特許、その他に分類
し、共著者はすべて記入してください）
③ 主要論文 3 篇以内の別刷りまたはコピー
④ これまでの研究概要（上記主要論文と関連つけて記載。共著論文の場合には、応
募者の寄与が分かるように記載。A4 用紙 3 ページ以内）
⑤ これまでの教育実績(TA 等を含む)の概要、またはティーチング・ポートフォリオ
(TP)またはプレ・ティーチング・ポートフォリオ (PTP)。ティーチング・ポート
フォリオ・ネット (TPN)のワークショップ・スタンダード (http://www.teachingportfolio-net.jp/ws-standard/) に準拠したワークショップで TP または PTP を作
成された方は修了証のコピーを添付。
⑥ 着任後の研究に関する抱負（A4 用紙 1 ページ程度）
⑦ 着任後の教育に関する抱負（A4 用紙 1 ページ程度）
⑧ 競争的研究費の獲得状況（代表と分担の区別を記載）

10. 選考方法
書類選考の上、面接（研究概要と抱負、教育への抱負など）により最終選考を行いま
す。面接の際には、学位記のコピー (写真でも可) または学位記記載事項証明書のいず
れかを、学位取得見込みの方は学位取得見込証明書をご持参ください。面接に係る旅
費等については、自己負担でお願いします。

Open Advertisement for a Faculty Position of Assistant Professor
In the Department of Information Science
Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Saga University
1.
Outline
The Department of Information Science, Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Saga
University, invites applications for one full-time position of Assistant Professor.
The Department, which has approximately 240 undergraduate and 40 graduate students including
PhD students, is committed to excellence in teaching as well as in research.
The Department
conducts research in diverse areas of Information Science, including Applied Mathematics, Computer
Science, Information Processing, Internet Engineering, Intelligent Systems, Complex Systems, and

2.
Qualifications and Research Fields
Applicants must have a PhD and/or a Doctor of Science/Engineering degree(s), or will have a
degree(s) until he/she will arrive at the post.
The Department will consider applicants with a
research background in application fields with foundations in computer science.
The successful candidate will be expected to support the education at the undergraduate level.
3.
Language Requirements for Teaching
Japanese language at the standard of a native speaker (speaking, reading and writing) will be
essential for teaching at the undergraduate level.

Deadline for Application
December 25, 2015.
5.
Commencing Date of the Job
As soon as possible after April 1, 2016.

Salary System
Annual Salary System adopted by the “Saga University Regulations about Annual Salary System
for Teaching Staff”; Full-time teaching staff members, except for those at the attached schools,
working at Saga University at the time when they apply can continue to choose the “Saga University
Regulations about Monthly Salary for Staff”.
