We are deeply sorry that we have to send this message to our Japanese friends.
We are "Piano-Duo Kutrowatz", the brothers Johannes and Eduard Kutrowatz.
We have been performing together as a professional piano-duo worldwide for many
years.
We had been very much looking forward to performing and meeting you all at the Lake
Yamanaka International Music Festival scheduled from September 19 to 21.
However, due to his health problem, elder brother Johannes, who has played a role of
music director of the Lake Yamanaka International Music Festival, had to cancel his
visit to Japan this time, and as a result we are unable to perform together. We express
our sincere apology to the people who have been looking forward to our performance
and to those who were involved in organizing this music festival. We are deeply sorry
for this sudden announcement.
In the Lake Yamanaka International Music Festival, younger brother Eduard takes
over the role of music director. With some changes in program and musician, we will
hold the festival for you to enjoy our music performance.
We hope you will understand the situation. We sincerely hope the Lake Yamanaka
International Music Festival will create a special memory for you.

日本の皆様にこのようなお詫びのメッセージをお伝えしなければならないことを、本当
に心苦しく思います。
私たちピアノデュオ・クトロヴァッツは、兄ヨハネスと弟のエドワードで、これまでプ
ロフェッショナルのピアノデュオとして長年、世界で演奏活動をして参りました。
この度、９月１９日～２１日に予定していた山中湖国際音楽祭でのコンサートで私たち
の演奏を聴いていただくこと、皆様にお会いできることを私たちもとても楽しみにしてお
りました。
しかし、山中湖国際音楽祭の音楽監督の役割を担っている兄ヨハネス・クトロヴァッツ
が体調不良により来日できなくなり、兄弟としての演奏ができなくなりました。私たちの
演奏を楽しみにしていただいたお客様、そして音楽祭に関わる関係各位の皆様に対し、直
前になってこのような事態になってしまったことを心からお詫び申し上げます。本当に申
し訳ありません。
山中湖国際音楽祭は、弟エドワードが音楽監督としてその任務を引き継ぎ、プログラム、
演奏者は一部変更いたしますが、皆さんに大いに楽しんでいただける内容で音楽祭を開催
いたします。
皆様にこのような事情をご理解賜りますことをお願い申し上げます。そして、山中湖国
際音楽祭が、みなさんにとってよき思い出になることを心から願っております。
