Primary Responsibilities:
As Course Supervisor for the Business English course (for 2nd and 3rd year students,
following a study abroad program), the successful applicant’s responsibilities will
include:
Teaching up to 6 English classes per 3-day week (Tue., Wed., Fri.)
Syllabus design
Assisting part-time teachers
Participating in weekly faculty development meetings (in Japanese)
Implementing special activities to develop students’ English skills; for example,

speech contest practice, culture festival preparation, assisting students with job
applications
The successful applicant may also be asked to attend occasional weekend events,
such as Open Campus and AO interviews (compensated by days off in lieu).
Additionally, the successful applicant will be expected to attend an annual residential
study trip in the Kanto area.

1. Master’s degree in TESOL or Applied Linguistics
2. Teaching experience at the university level
3. Must be able to conduct classes in English to students with various levels of
proficiency
4. Must understand the school policy and conduct the classes in accordance with it
