Outline of Symposium
※本セッションは科学研究費助成事業（課題番号：261011）です。
薬理学会年会 2014 において、Journal of Pharmacological Sciences（JPS）からの国際
情報発信強化のために、第１回 JPS サテライトシンポジウムを開催した。今年は海外から
JPS associate editor を含む３名の神経科学者を招いて神経薬理学の基礎と臨床の融合に関
する最新の研究成果を報告する。さらに、日本生理学会英文誌 The Journal of Physiological
Sciences の編集主幹を招いて、両英文科学誌が国際的にインパクトを与える科学誌として発展
する方策について討論する。JPS は 2015 年から Elsevier 出版による電子ジャーナルとして再
出発する。これを機会に他の基礎医学会との連携を深めていきたい。
We hold the 1st satellite symposium in 2014 for progression of Journal of Pharmacological
Sciences (JPS) as international leading journal in basic and clinical pharmacological field. We
introduce the exciting papers by three inviting JPS editors regarding translational research
in the field of neuropsychopharmacology. We also invite the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of
Physiological Sciences to discuss our current progress. JPS is now starting as Open Access
Journal through Elsevier, a world-leading provider of science from 2015. In this context, we
should make more efforts to establish good friendship between other basic medical journals.
