≪世界無形文化遺産文楽への誘い≫
人形遣い吉田一輔さんを迎えて
多数の会員の皆様からのご要望にお応えし、世界無形文化遺産に選ばれ、300
年もの歴史を誇る伝統芸能「文楽」の魅力に触れて頂く、特別企画をお届け致し
ます。ゲストとして、文楽の世界では珍しい、人形遣いの三代目で若手のホープ
吉田一輔さんをお迎えし、文楽人形についての解説や実演をお楽しみ頂きます。
当日は一輔さんが、皆様の目の前で人形の遣い方を解説下さいます。3人の人
形遣いが、一体の人形の感情をどのように表現していくのか、長い歴史により熟成
された『伝統芸能の技』を説き明かしながら、実演と共に皆様を文楽の世界に誘
います。さらに、衣裳の着付けや、人形の仕組みのお話など、文楽人形の魅力を
様々な側面からご紹介頂きます。お話と実演の後は、吉田一輔さんをはじめとす
る3人の人形遣いのみなさんにもご参加頂き、懇親の夕食会を開催致します。
2015年2月14日(土)から3月2日(月)まで、国立劇場で開催予定の文楽公演に
先立ち、文楽の素晴らしい魅力に触れる貴重な機会を是非お楽しみ下さい。

吉田一輔プロフィール：
1969年大阪生まれ。祖父は桐竹亀松、父は桐竹一暢。13歳で父に入門し、1985年国立文楽
劇場で初舞台。2004年、三代目吉田簑助門下となり吉田姓を名のる。2008年の第28回国立
劇場文楽賞文楽奨励賞、2010年平成21年咲くやこの花賞、大阪文化祭賞奨励賞など受賞。
『三谷文楽』でも注目される若手を代表する人形遣いの一人。（2013年には高校生の息子さ
んも吉田簑助に入門し、珍しい親子揃っての弟子入りとなった。4代続く人形遣いは、長い文
楽の歴史にも記録がない。）

Special Cultural Salon - Introduction to the World of Bunraku
Intangible Cultural Asset With Renowned Bunraku Puppeteer Master Ichisuke Yoshida
Responding to many requests, we are very pleased to invite you into the world of Bunraku, the classical puppet theater of Japan, which was designated as an Intangible Cultural Asset by UNESCO in 2003. Our special
guest is Master Ichisuke Yoshida, Japan’s one of young and leading Bunraku puppeteers. Bunraku or Ningyo
Joruri, along with Noh and Kabuki, is one of the traditional theatrical arts of Japan. It has a long history, having first come to the stages of Japan when recitation and puppet manipulation were combined almost four
centuries ago. Ichisuke-san will introduce the history and heritage of Bunraku. Together with two other puppeteers, he will demonstrate how to manipulate the puppets in ways that will make it seem as though they
are almost alive! You will be amazed at how the puppets can actually express such emotions as crying, laughing and being bashful, etc. After his speech and demonstration, a special dinner will be prepared to complement this special occasion. Needless to say, the performers will join the dinner as well. Please mark your
calendars now so that you will not miss this unusual opportunity to enjoy one of Japan’s most fascinating cultural assets.
