The Saitama Tourism and International Relations Bureau IEC (International Exchange
Center) is planning a Kimono Try-on Session! You can sign up for it at the Office of
International Affairs, Saitama University. You can also try tea ceremony, Furoshiki
wrapping and visit Hikawa shrine in your kimono (Japanese pay the first visit of the
year to shrines to pray for happiness and good health).
Date: January 4th (Sun), 2015 ①10:00-12:00
Fee:
②13:00-15:00
500 yen
Place: Hikawa no Mori Bunkakan (15-min walk from Omiya Station)
Meeting Place: JR Omiya Stn. Mame no Ki (Our staff will meet you there. See back. )
Participation Limit: 20 people per time slot
＊Participants will be determined by lottery and results announced to you by mid-December.

※Ｔシャツなどの首周りが広く開いている服を着て来てください。

