Do Not Love the World この世を愛してはなりません 1 John（第一ヨハネ） 2:15-‐17 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever. 1 John 2:15-‐17 世をも、世にあるものをも、愛してはなりませ ん。もしだれでも世を愛しているなら、その人の うちに御父を愛する愛はありません。すべての世 にあるもの、すなわち、肉の欲、目の欲、暮らし 向きの自慢などは、御父から出たものではなく、 この世から出たものだからです。世と世の欲は滅 び去ります。しかし、神のみこころを行う者は、 いつまでもながらえます。! 第一ヨハネ２：１５−１７ ! If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” 1 John 2:15 The Command：命令 “And as people migrated from the east, they found a plain in the land of Shinar and settled there. And they said to one another, “Come, let us make bricks, and burn them thoroughly.” And they had brick for stone, and bitumen for mortar. Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city and a tower with its top in the heavens, and let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be dispersed over the face of the whole earth.” Genesis 11:2-‐4 The Command：命令 そのころ、人々は東のほうから移動して来て、 シヌアルの地に平地を見つけ、そこに定住し た。彼らは互いに言った。「さあ、れんがを 作ってよく焼こう。」彼らは石の代わりにれん がを用い、粘土の代わりに瀝青を用いた。その うちに彼らは言うようになった。「さあ、われ われは町を建て、頂が天に届く塔を建て、名を あげよう。われわれが全地に散らされるといけ ないから。」 創世記 １１：２−４ The Command：命令 神を知っていると言いながら、その命令を守らない者 は、偽り者であり、真理はその人のうちにありませ ん。5 しかし、みことばを守っている者なら、その人 のうちには、確かに神の愛が全うされているのです。 それによって、私たちが神のうちにいることがわかり ます。 第一ヨハネ２：４−５ “Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected.” 1 John 2:4-‐5 The Reason：理由 すべての世にあるもの、すなわち、肉の欲、 目の欲、暮らし向きの自慢などは、御父から 出たものではなく、この世から出たものだか らです。 第一ヨハネ ２：１６ ! “For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life— is not from the Father but is from the world.” 1 John 2:16 The Reason：理由 “And he (Jesus) told them a parable, saying, “ The land of a rich man produced plentifully, and he thought to himself, ‘What shall I do, for I have nowhere to store my crops?’ And he said, ‘I will do this: I will tear down my barns and build larger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods. And I will say to my soul, “Soul, you have ample goods laid up for many years; relax, eat, drink, be merry.”’ But God said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul is required of you, and the things you have prepared, whose will they be?’ So is the one who lays up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God.” Luke 12:16-‐21 The Reason：理由 ! それから人々にたとえを話された。! 「ある金持ちの畑が豊作であった。17 そこで彼は、心の中でこう言 いながら考えた。『どうしよう。作物をたくわえておく場所がな い。』18 そして言った。『こうしよう。あの倉を取りこわして、もっ と大きいのを建て、穀物や財産はみなそこにしまっておこう。19 そし て、自分のたましいにこう言おう。「たましいよ。これから先何年分 もいっぱい物がためられた。さあ、安心して、食べて、飲んで、楽し め。」』20 しかし神は彼に言われた。『愚か者。おまえのたましい は、今夜おまえから取り去られる。そうしたら、おまえが用意した物 は、いったいだれのものになるのか。』21 自分のためにたくわえて も、神の前に富まない者はこのとおりです。 ルカ書 １２：１６−２１ The Reason：理由 The Consequence：結果 ! 世と世の欲は滅び去ります。しかし、神のみこ ころを行う者は、いつまでもながらえます。 第一ヨハネ ２：１７ ! “And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.” 1 John 2:17 The Consequence：結果 The Consequence：結果 そういうわけだから、何を食べるか、何を飲むか、何を着るか、など と言って心配するのはやめなさい。 こういうものはみな、異邦人が 切に求めているものなのです。しかし、あなたがたの天の父は、それ がみなあなたがたに必要であることを知っておられます。だから、神 の国とその義とをまず第一に求めなさい。そうすれば、それに加え て、これらのものはすべて与えられます。 マタイの福音書 ６：３１−３３ “Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:31-‐33 The Consequence：結果 自分の宝を地上にたくわえるのはやめなさい。そこでは虫 とさびで、きず物になり、また盗人が穴をあけて盗みま す。自分の宝は、天にたくわえなさい。そこでは、虫もさ びもつかず、盗人が穴をあけて盗むこともありません。マ タイの福音書 ６：１９−２０ ! “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.” Matthew 6:19-‐20 The Consequence：結果 兄弟たちよ。私は、自分はすでに捕らえたなどと考えて はいません。ただ、この一事に励んでいます。すなわ ち、うしろのものを忘れ、ひたむきに前のものに向かっ て進み、キリスト・イエスにおいて上に召してくださる 神の栄冠を得るために、目標を目ざして一心に走ってい るのです。ピリピ人への手紙 ３：１３−１４ “Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-‐14 The Choice：選択
