SYNOPSIS
Dispute is inevitable in construction projects. Achieving satisfactory dispute
resolution has attracted considerable attention among construction practitioners
and researchers. In practice, disputes are first negotiated in an attempt to reach
mutually acceptable solution before seeking other dispute resolution methods
such as mediation and arbitration. This seminar will give a brief review on
disputes and their resolution methods and introduce some research studies in
construction negotiation.
