青森県弘前市は日本一のりんご生産地です。
毎年わたしたちに恵みをもたらしてくれるりんごの木ですが
その役割を終えたとき、主に薪とされる他は処分されてしまいます。
木材として利用するには、太く長い部材が採れない上に節目も多く加工に至るまでに非常に手間がかかるからです。

木村木品のトップブランドである「CHITOSE」はりんごの木のものづくりにこだわったブランドです。
Hirosaki cultivates apple most of Japan.
There are many apple trees that finished their duties
because of various reasons every year. Most of them
use for firewood, but other is just dumped.
The reasons are 1. thick and long, 2. many knots, 3. spend
a lot of time to adjust it as useful wood. "CHITOSE"
that is 1st brand of KIMUMOKU produces apple tree items
that we cut apple tree, lumber, make dry.
Even that, it is just half of them
that we can use, but we keep to use apple tree because
it is domestic resource and
we want to introduce their special texture.
わたしたちが使うりんごの木は、農園から伐採し製材・乾燥まですべて自分たちの手で行います。
使えるのは５割がやっとですが、地域資源として、またりんごの木が持つ独特の肌触りなどを紹介したい
という想いで手間をかけてもりんごの木で、ものづくりをしています。

"IWA KI SUN"(Mt. Iwaki) is the biggest mountain in Aomori
and is worshipped as a god of mountain.
We developed elegance bath accesaries collection as
“IWA KI SUN” that watches affectionately Hirosaki, Aomori.
"IWA KI SUN" means "rock(Iwa)" and "ki(tree)".
We express "IWA KI SUN" by using artificial
marble(rock) and apple wood(tree).

弘前を見守る岩木山のように気品ある佇まいのバス用品を開発しました。
「岩」と「りんごの木」を使い「岩木山」を表現しました。
