Design Prize Switzerland is a biannual competition created to highlight the importance of Swiss design. The 2011 edition of the competition – the eleventh since
its inception in 1991 – comprises 34 products, projects and concepts representing some of the very best of contemporary Swiss design.
スイス・デザイン賞はスイスのデザインの重要性を強調するために設けられた隔年開催の
デザインコンペティションです。1991 年に創設されたコンペティションの2011 年度版は
34のプロダクト、プロジェクトや最も優れたスイスの現代デザインのコンセプトからなる
ものです。
The internationally touring exhibition showcases prize-winning and nominated
works with the aim to provide insight into the current making of Swiss design and
foster the dialogue and exchange with Japan. The range is wide, extending from
textile innovations to a reinterpretation of the electric light bulb, from outstanding exhibitions to multifunctional household equipment. Even the chair has been
reinvented.
海外を巡回する本展は、
受賞作品やノミネート作品をとりあげ、
スイスのデザインの最先端
技術を紹介するとともに、
デザインにおいて日本との対話と交流を促すことを目的とします。
内容は多様で、
テキスタイル素材の開発、電球の新解釈、特別な博覧会や台所道具の提案
などに及びさらに新しい椅子も発明されました。
Following the encouraging and enthusiastic response in 2010, when the 2009
edition of the competition was presented, Design Prize Switzerland is honored to
return to SPIRAL/Wacoal Art Center.

«Genuine Swiss II» スイス・デザイン・シンポジウム
2012年11月10日(土)、スパイラルホール（スパイラル３F） «Genuine Swiss II» Symposium is a continuation of the first such symposium in
2010. Acclaimed professionals from the Japanese and Swiss design industry,
such as Patrick Reymond, Naoto Fukasawa, David Glättli, Pierre Keller, Gerhard
Buurman, Colin Schälli, Claudio Collucci and others will reflect on current design
topics and discuss common grounds and differences in approach and purpose.
«Genuine Swiss II» スイス・デザイン・シンポジウムは2010年に初めて開催されたシンポジ
ウムの続編です。
日本とスイスのデザイン界から一流の専門家を招き現代のデザイン事情
や両国のデザインにおける共通性またアプローチや目的の相違などについて発表します。
パネリストはパトリック・レモン、深澤直人、ダヴィット・グレットリ、ピエール・ケラー、
ゲルハルト・ブールマン、
コリン・シェーリー、
クライディオ・コルッチその他。
