Dictation（聴き取り）10 問の英文を聴き取るテストです。 〔 テスト時間は合計で約１時間３０分です。〕 募 集 期 間 2009年10月5日（月） ∼ 10月27日（火） 申 込 方 法 添付の申込用紙に必要事項を記入の上、10月27日（火）までにファックスあるいは 来室にて、柏IOへ提出してください。 Fax: 04-7136-4559 国際連携本部 柏 IO 受 講 料 受講料は無料です。 教 材 費 英会話講座： 無料 プリント教材使用 科目案内 スタッフ対象クラス 初級 まず会話の基本文型を学びます。続いて聴取能力を高めます。欧米人のみでなく、受入れ 人数の多い東南アジアなどの非英語圏の人々が話す英語にも慣れるように訓練します。実 施される回数に制限がありますので、自宅学習でできるかぎり習ったことを反復していただき ます。 スタッフ対象クラス 中級 外国人研究員の招聘業務や、留学生受入業務、来日後の外国人とのビジネスコミュニケー ションに必要な、即、使える英語を学びます。とくに難しいのは電話で場所の確認や交通機 関などを説明する場合です。実際には異文化コミュニケーションとしての会話を学びますが。 英語で考えて英語で発信する訓練を行います。メールの書き方の基本も学びます。 大学院生クラス 初級 英会話での口頭表現の基本能力の向上を目指します。まず自己紹介から始まり自分の意 見を英語に置き換えて発表できるところまで行います。7 回という限られた回数のため宿題も 出します。必ず宿題は実施してから授業に出席していただきます。さらに予習、復習も積極 的に行っていただきます。 大学院生クラス 中級 ある程度、英語で発話することのできる人を対象に、より正しい話法、洗練された表現を学ん でいきます。限られた時間内に自分の意見を整理し、自分の立場、要点を明確に述べる訓 練をします。またアメリカの大学での会話や講義が充分に聞き取れるようにリスニングを鍛え ます。最終的にはプレゼンテーションやディベートにも耐えられる力を養います。 Course Introduction Staff – Elementary Class The class will first learn the basic sentence patterns of conversation, and then learn to enhance listening comprehension. There will be a training to get used to English, not only of native English speakers from Western countries but also of those from Southeast Asia and other countries where English is not their native tongue. As the number of sessions is limited, the students are strongly encouraged to review at home what they have learned in the class. Staff – Intermediate Class The class will learn practical English that is both necessary and useful when inviting researchers and accepting students from overseas as well as for business communications with foreigners visiting Japan. Specifically, the students will learn difficult expressions, such as how to confirm the location or how to explain the use of transportation over the phone. In the class, they will learn conversation as a means of cross-cultural communication and the focus will be on thinking and expressing in English. There will also be a lesson for the basics of writing e-mails. Graduate Students – Elementary Class The class will aim at improving their basic oral expressions in English. Starting from self-introduction, they ultimately aim at being able to make a presentation in English. As there will be only seven sessions, home assignments will be given. They are also encouraged to prepare for the next class as well as to review the previous one. Graduate Students – Intermediate Class This class is for those who have some command of English to learn better and more sophisticated expressions. The training includes organizing one’s opinion and clarifying and summarizing one’s viewpoint.
