NEW “VISION” Tyre-warmers WIRING SYSTEM:
All “Vision” tire warmers produced from April 14, 2014 will have a
new system designed to help the replacement of the "Vision"
electronics board in case of breakage. Thanks to this, our customer
is completely independent and able to replace the damaged boards
avoiding to return the complete tyre-warmer to our importers or to
the manufacturer. In case of breakage of a "Vision" electronics
board produced after April 14, 2014 (in case of doubt about
manufacture date, please contact us [email protected]), you
can order one single ECU (WES150 code for 230-240V and
WES151 for 100-110V) and then send it to the customer to selfinstall with the instructions below.
NUOVO SISTEMA di CABLAGGIO TERMOCOPERTE “VISION”:
Tutte le termocoperte “Vision” prodotte dal 14 Aprile 2014
presentano una novità tecnica studiata per facilitare la sostituzione
della scheda elettronica “Vision” in caso di rottura. In questo modo
il cliente è completamente autonomo nell’effettuare la riparazione,
sostituendo manualmente la schede danneggiate ed evitando così
la spedizione di tutta la termocoperta presso gli importatori o
presso la nostra sede. In caso di rotture su “Vision” prodotte dopo il
14 Aprile 2014 (nel caso di dubbi circa la data di produzione
contattateci su [email protected] ), è possibile ordinare la
singola scheda (codice WES150 per alimentazione a 230-240V e codice WES151 per alimentazione a 100-110V) e
poi spedirla al cliente che potrà sostituirla seguendo le istruzioni qui di seguito.
CAUTION: do not open tyre-warmers Velcro while the electric plug
is into the socket and electric voltage is on! Therefore, make sure
that the power plug is disconnected from the socket voltage!
ATTENZIONE: non aprire assolutamente i velcri della
termocoperta mentre la spina è inserita e i componenti sono sotto
tensione! Accertarsi quindi che la spina di alimentazione sia
staccata dalla presa di corrente!
1. Make sure that the tyre-warmer is NOT connected to the power
supply.
1. Assicurarsi che la termocoperta non sia sotto tensione (la spina
elettrica NON deve essere inserita in una presa di corrente)
2. Open the tyre-warmer from the inside label area (where is sewn the "Vision" ECU pocket) detaching two black
Velcro straps
2. Aprire la termocoperta nella zona dell’etichetta interna (dove è cucita anche la tasca della scheda “Vision”)
distaccando tra loro i due velcri cuciti
3. Opening the two Velcro straps you will have access to the tyre-warmer internals.
3. Aprendo i due velcri si avrà accesso alla parte interna della termocoperta

4. Inside the tyre-warmer you can identify the wiring connectors that
link the "Vision" ECU (placed in the pocket) to the tyre-warmer
heating circuit
4. All’interno della termocoperta potete identificare il cablaggio che
collega la centralina elettronica “Vision” (presente nella tasca) al
circuito scaldante della termocoperta
5. Disconnect the wiring pressing the two levers on “Vision” connector
sides and pulling in the opposite direction
5. Disconnettere il cablaggio premendo le due levette poste sul connettore della scheda “Vision” e tirandolo nella
direzione opposta al cablaggio stesso
6. Pull out the damaged "Vision" ECU by the fabric pocket
without pulling on the connector or wires (avoid tearing
connections)
6. Sfilare la scheda “Vision” danneggiata, dalla tasca in tessuto
senza tirarla per il connettore o i fili ad esso collegati (evitando
di strappare le connessioni)
7. Insert the new "Vision" ECU into the pocket fabric, leaving
the display turned to the transparent side of the pocket
7. Inserire la nuova scheda “Vision” nella tasca in tessuto, lasciando il display rivolto dalla parte trasparente della
tasca
8. Reconnect the wiring system, making sure to push the
connector to the limit
8. Ricollegare il connettore al cablaggio, assicurandosi di
spingerlo fino al finecorsa
9. Replace everything to the origin and close Velcro straps
correctly to ensure a perfect tyre-warmer closure.
9. Richiudere con attenzione tutti i velcri nella zona
dell’etichetta interna al fine di garantirne la perfetta tenuta
