Wedmarkt: 11/4 Sportsreport, 3/1 Proud Times, 7/2 Venetian Lad, 4/1
Noble Friend, 5/1 Miller Of Glanmire
Racingpost: Simply The West got the job done in good style at Bangor
in November and his subsequent defeat in a warm race at Cheltenham
shouldn't be viewed harshly, but this can go to GOLAN DANCER. David
Bridgwater's gelding posted a decent effort when third over 2m here in
January and could easily have more to offer over today's longer
trip.[Chris Wilson]
Racingpost: Sportsreport bagged a pair of low-grade events at
Lingfield towards the end of 2014 and has scope to make further
progress but preference is for NOBLE FRIEND (nap). He is now 8lb
lower than when third to two subsequent winners over C&D in January
and certainly wasn't disgraced in a Class 3 event at Sandown on his
only subsequent appearance.[Chris Wilson]

Dude Alert
Racingpost: Nouailhas has finished second in four consecutive
handicap hurdles this winter and is also effective over fences but has a
poor strike-rate and his limitations are fully exposed. The suggestion is
FAMILY MOTTO who made a low-key chasing debut at Newbury
recently but contests a much easier race here and will be a tough nut to
crack if replicating the form of his third in a Fontwell maiden hurdle in
November. Ready Token should also be on the premises and Jay Are
will be feared if attracting market support.[Chris Wilson]
Racingpost: AVIADOR has been raised 7lb for his very close second
over C&D last month but he may have kicked for home too early that
day and was a long way clear of the third. He gets the vote ahead of
Flugzeug, a course winner over fences who ran well when reverting to
hurdles after a break in January. Strange Bird is enigmatic, but was a
wide-margin C&D winner just over a year ago and is a danger to all if in
the right mood. Eastern Calm is a potential improver, having been
upped in trip for today's handicap debut.[Chris Wilson]

Charming Lad
Racingpost: MAY HAY impressed on her hurdle debut in December
and bumped into a rapidly progressive rival when a beaten favourite on
her second start in this sphere. She is taken to make a successful
transition to handicap company. Ludlow winner Abundantly was soundly
beaten in her first handicap, but that came against males in a 0-130
event and she will appreciate today's significant drop in class.[Chris
Wilson]
Racingpost: All of these have a big run in them but none of them are
reliable propositions, so it could be worth going with the contender with
the fewest convictions, namely the lightly raced 7yo MR MCGREGOR
who was a good second on his chase debut two starts ago. Of his
rivals, all aged in double figures, perhaps the main threat will be
Brunette'sonly, who likes it here.[Ben Hutton]
