Touch Back, 12/1 Fourth Estate, 16/1 Maybe I Wont
Racingpost: A race in which not too many make much appeal.
Although he's down a fair way in distance it's worth going with
GILNOCKIE, who has shown ability over a variety of distances so the
return to this trip shouldn't inconvenience, especially now the rains have
arrived. He's fitted with cheekpieces and a tongue-tie and is taken to
beat Mr Burgees, who is saddled with a double penalty. [Richard
Young]

Selecties GBI: 4 Jack Steel - 10 Bentons Lad - 3 Here Comes Arthur 9 Zabalee
Racingpost: Waltz Darling had the misfortune of coming up against
this week's Pertemps winner Call The Cops at Doncaster last time and
there's nothing of that calibre in this field. He's sure to go well with
easier ground no problem but he's taken on with TOUCH BACK, who is
fitted with first-time blinkers (won in first-time cheekpieces) for this
return to hurdles after failing to get round over fences the last twice. His
rider removes a valuable 10lb, he handles conditions and is sure to go
well for an in-form trainer who has only had two jumps runners here in
the past five seasons. [Richard Young]

Dystonia's Revenge, 13/2 Benefit In Kind, 8/1 Lord Brendy, 9/1
Monogram, 9/1 Apache Pilot, 11/1 What A Dream
Racingpost: Lord Brendy turned in his best chase effort to divide
subsequent winners at Doncaster last time but his win and best form
have been on a sounder surface and for that reason he's taken on with
the bang in-form PRESENT LODGER, who won't be inconvenienced by
the rain and who is well worth another try over this trip. [Richard Young]

Wedmarkt: 3/1 Mumgos Debut, 7/2 Quicuyo, 9/2 Safari Journey, 5/1
Pamak D'Airy, 5/1 Have You Had Yours, 5/1 Morning Time
Racingpost: A race in which there are question marks over all the
runners and it could be worth chancing the fitness of MUMGOS
DEBUT, who has yet to win but he's posted two solid efforts over this
C&D and, although he's not been out for over a year, he's from a yard in
good form. The potentially well-handicapped Quicuyo could be the main
danger. [Richard Young]

Avidity, 13/2 Engrossing, 15/2 Morning Royalty, 12/1 Pistol
6e Koers 18:10uur - 4022 m
Racingpost: Brave Spartacus is a player, despite a 4lb rise for a
narrow Catterick win but he lacks the potential for improvement of
ENGROSSING (nap), who didn't have to improve to get off the mark at
Ayr last time but he has plenty of scope and the recent rain will be in his
favour. [Richard Young]

Friendly Royal, 8/1 Thatildee, 8/1 Blake Dean, 8/1 Grand Vintage, 10/1
Birthday Guest, 12/1 Danehills Well, 12/1 Clan Chief, 33/1 Valsesia
Racingpost: Competitive fare with plenty of possible winners. Clan
Chief still has potential in handicaps, while Spitz and Harvey's Hope are
others to consider. FRIENDLY ROYAL fluffed his lines when sent off
favourite on his handicap debut on Boxing Day but it's too soon to write
him off and he's worth another chance to prove himself well
treated.[Paul Smith]
