Tips Sandown

Sandown (30 / QP/PP: 30 / TJP: 47) Zaterdag 07 Maart 2015
1e Koers 14:25uur - 3318 m
4e Koers 16:10uur - 3318 m
Wedmarkt: 5/2 Princess Ombu, 7/2 Libeccio, 7/2 Ultimate Act, 7/2
Cyclop, 5/1 Golden Spear
Wedmarkt: 6/1 Bidourey, 15/2 Calipto, 9/1 West Wizard, 9/1 Zip Top,
11/1 Arzal, 12/1 Camping Ground, 14/1 Some Buckle, 14/1 Fascino
Rustico, 14/1 Heath Hunter, 14/1 Thistlecrack, 16/1 Wicklow Brave,
16/1 Royal Guardsman, 20/1 Ebony Express, 20/1 Gassin Golf, 20/1
Chieftain's Choice, 25/1 Zaidiyn, 25/1 Hint Of Mint, 25/1 Meadowcroft
Boy, 25/1 Rayvin Black, 25/1 Ascendant, 33/1 First Avenue, 33/1
Midnight Game, 40/1 Raven's Tower, 40/1 Desert Cry
Racingpost: It's difficult to rule out any of the five runners, especially as
four of them are making their handicap hurdle debut and could improve
as a result. Based solely on Flat form, LIBECCIO looks potentially the
best handicapped horse in the field and he showed on Boxing Day that
he's capable of mixing it over hurdles. Ultimate Act was some way
ahead of Golden Spear last time and may be able to boss this small
field, while Princess Ombu is interesting off bottom weight and Cyclop
has some respectable form against his elders.[Steve Boow]

Selecties GBI: 13 Bidourey - 2 Calipto - 19 Rayvin Black - 14 West
Wizard
Racingpost: A whole clutch of interesting novices may be the ones to
concentrate on. ARZAL was a major eye-catcher in a top Newbury
handicap last time, when staying on well into sixth of 23 after being
badly hampered, and granted a better run through this time, may well
be the answer. Thistlecrack may be next best, ahead of fellow novice
Some Buckle, who is likewise two from three over hurdles. Heath
Hunter may be the pick of the more seasoned runners. [Mel Cullinan]

Selecties GBI: - - Wedmarkt: 7/2 Aigle De La See, 13/2 As De Mee, 15/2 Monbeg
Theatre, 8/1 Great Try, 10/1 Chidswell, 11/1 Remiluc, 12/1 Hello
George, 12/1 Mount Haven, 12/1 Kingfisher Creek, 14/1 Assam Black,
14/1 Kilgeel Hill, 16/1 Acertain Circus, 16/1 L'Aigle Royal, 20/1 Amidon,
20/1 Skylander, 20/1 Buckhorn Timothy, 25/1 Sidbury Hill, 33/1 Robbie
Rabbit
Racingpost: AIGLE DE LA SEE (nap) makes a fair bit of appeal and
can make it three from three since joining Nicky Henderson. A C&D
winner from Monbeg Theatre in a novice handicap in January, this 5yo
stepped up on that form when winning well in a Ffos Las novice last
time and is on a good mark on that effort. Paul Nicholls' pair Great Try
and As De Mee may be next best, ahead of the selection's old rival
Monbeg Theatre. [Mel Cullinan]

Wedmarkt: 7/2 Ballyheigue Bay, 7/2 Financial Climate, 9/2 Ziga Boy,
5/1 Umberto D'Olivate, 6/1 Kings Apollo, 7/1 Saroque, 8/1 Mosspark
Racingpost: From a tactical point of view, this could go to something
ridden with restraint as Saroque, Ballyheigue Bay and Kings Apollo
could all ensure a strong pace. ZIGA BOY may be the answer,
assuming his latest run in the gruelling West Wales National hasn't
taken too much out of him. That effort is basically best ignored and five
weeks' recovery time offers hope that he'll be fine today.[Steve Boow]
Postdata: Financial Climate

RP Ratings: Umberto D'Olivate

Wedmarkt: 9/4 Whistle Dixie, 11/2 Lifeboat Mona, 9/1 Robins Reef,
10/1 Copper Kay, 12/1 Rose Revived, 12/1 Out Of The Mist, 12/1 Ivor's
Queen, 14/1 Amour D'Or, 16/1 Surtee Du Berlais, 16/1 Briery Queen,
20/1 Colour Of The Wind, 20/1 Babylone Des Motte, 20/1 Ruby
Rambler, 22/1 Lady Persephone, 25/1 The Way It Works, 33/1 Cassie,
33/1 Morning Herald
Racingpost: This race has generally been won by the older brigade in
the past decade but 4yo fillies were successful in 2005 and 2008. It's a
highly competitive renewal with 11 previous winners in the line-up but
it's hard to get away from WHISTLE DIXIE, who is unbeaten in three
career starts and whose latest performance gives her leading claims on
the figures. She could prove tough to beat if handling the ground (she
has raced on soft/heavy thus far). The ex-French Babylone Des Motte
has to be feared on her debut for Willie Mullins, while Robins Reef,
Lifeboat Mona, Copper Kay, Amour D'Or and Rose Revived are others
to note.[Steve Boow]

Wedmarkt: 2/1 Traffic Fluide, 5/2 Yorkist, 9/2 Ubaltique, 9/2 Seventh
Sky, 5/1 Cayman Islands
Racingpost: The unexposed 5yo TRAFFIC FLUIDE should have more
to offer and is taken to confirm his Plumpton superiority over Seventh
Sky. Drying ground is the main concern for both Yorkist and Ubaltique.
Cayman Islands is the only runner without winning chase form and he
has been off the track for 11 months but it would be significant if there is
market confidence behind him.[Steve Boow]
