Friesland Bank will redeem perpetual on 3 December 2014
Friesland Bank and Rabobank hereby give notice that the Perpetual Capital
Securities (“Capital Securities”) issued by Friesland Bank in 2004 will be
redeemed on 3 December 2014, ten years after the issuance date. The
redemption amount totals 125 million euro, plus accrued interest.
Friesland Bank N.V. issued the Capital Securities on 3 December 2004. In accordance
with the terms and conditions of the Capital Securities, Friesland Bank N.V. may elect to
redeem all of the Capital Securities on 3 December 2014, subject to certain conditions,
one of which is the approval of the Dutch Central Bank (De Nederlandsche Bank N.V.).
Friesland Bank confirms that it has obtained such approval.
Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Condition 7(b) of the terms and conditions of the
Capital Securities, Friesland Bank N.V. has elected to redeem and will redeem all of the
Capital Securities at their principal amount, together with any Outstanding Payments (as
defined in the terms and conditions relating to the Capital Securities) on 3 December
2014.

Friesland Bank lost perpetual af op 3 december 2014
Friesland Bank en Rabobank maken bekend dat de Perpetual Capital Securities
(“Capital Securities”) die Friesland Bank in 2004 uitgaf worden afgelost. Dat
gebeurt op 3 december 2014, exact tien jaar na de uitgiftedatum. Het gaat in
totaal om een bedrag van 125 miljoen euro plus opgelopen rente.
Op 3 december 2004 heeft Friesland Bank N.V. de Capital Securities (ISIN
NL0000116457) uitgegeven. In overeenstemming met de voorwaarden van de Capital
Securities heeft Friesland Bank N.V. de mogelijkheid om alle Capital Securities op 3
december 2014 af te lossen, op voorwaarde dat aan bepaalde voorwaarden wordt
voldaan, waaronder goedkeuring van De Nederlandsche Bank N.V. Friesland Bank N.V.
bevestigt dat De Nederlandsche Bank N.V. deze goedkeuring heeft verleend.
Friesland Bank deelt hierbij mee dat conform conditie 7(b) van de voorwaarden van de
Capital Securities is besloten tot aflossing van de Capital Securities tegen de nominale
waarde tezamen met openstaande betalingen (“Outstanding Payments” zoals
gedefinieerd in de voorwaarden van de Capital Securities) op 3 december 2014.
