This festival stage can hold 5,000 people per show
(3 shows per night) on Thursday and Friday and
presents the most popular export ready acts. Therefore
Eurosonic Air is always present in reports (tv, written
press, online). This festival site can be visited by
delegates and non festival participants as it is a free
area.
Ebbingekwartier is the creative area of the city Groningen.
During Eurosonic Noorderslag the Ebbingekwartier is
one of the free festival sites and primary location for the
Eurosonic Box office. All visitors must enter the festival
centre Ebbingekwartier. Ebbingekwartier holds the artist
village as well. Over 2,000 artists do have their get-in,
dinners, coffee and networking facilities here.
All around the city of Groningen you’ll find these immense
bordbusters to show our delegates and visitors where to
go to. You can add your message at the bottom of this
bordbuster. A really attractive way to connect!

Breakers Award (EBBA Awards) during a spectacular TVshow presented by BBC-legend Jools Holland, recorded

European Production Innovation Conference
Are you working on an innovative
concept, idea, product or service
that everybody in the live-music
industry should know about?
Present it at EPIC 2015.
EPIC is a new conference and fair that runs alongside the
existing Eurosonic Noorderslag Conference. EPIC is entirely focused on innovation at festivals and venues, and offers three days of discussions, presentations of products,
alongside new ideas and how to implement them at festivals,
concerts, venues, and in the production of events. With over
3,500 Dutch and international music professionals, including
400 festivals, this is the place to present your product, idea,
concept or service.
EPIC
EPIC is an addition to the conference and a live-music
Industry Fair, where suppliers from the Netherlands and
Europe meet the European festivals. This is the opportunity to
meet and connect with suppliers on a casual basis before the
festival season starts again.
At this fair you look at and talk about the latest developments
and innovations on the productional side of the live-Music
industry. It is also an perfect opportunity to talk with suppliers
about future developments: what are the demands from the
festival point of view and what can suppliers recommend to
the festivals.
Without the stress and pressure of last minute decisions
just before your festival starts, you can now participate and
discuss your questions with leading suppliers from the
Netherlands and Europe. All of this in a casual setting with
some good food, beers and good atmosphere.
EPIC will be held in several locations on the Ebbingekwartier
which is at a 10 minute walking distance from the Eurosonic
Noorderslag conference. We’ve also arranged transportation
between these locations.

Eurosonic Noorderslag is the key exchange and
networking platform for European music, European
artists, the international music industry and interactive
professionals, companies and organizations.
Eurosonic Noorderslag 2014 in figures: 3,275 delegates,
showcases by 337 acts and a conference program with
150 panels, keynote speakers, interviews, workshops,
dinners, parties, meetings, awards shows and a music
related interactive program.
Eurosonic Noorderslag has taken place since 1986 in the
beautiful city of Groningen in the north of the Netherlands
(2,5 hours from Amsterdam). The event consists of
two festivals: Eurosonic (Wednesday till Friday) and
Noorderslag, (Saturday - Dutch artists only) and a three
day music business conference (Thursday, Friday,
Saturday), with the televised European Border Breakers
Awards show and the European Festivals Awards on the
Wednesday evening.
