Studio Alfons Hooikaas

2012 — ongoing
2005 — 2013
2x4 is a global design consultancy
headquartered in New York City
with satellite studios in Beijing and
Madrid. My job is in a larger branding team with the creative director
and partners and has an emphasis
on idea-development for brand
and design strategies for cultural
and commercial clients. Additionally I started working with the
environmental team to implement
these brand strategies in 3d
space. This results in projects
ranging from brand identities to
highly visual environmental
graphics and motion design.

Studio Alfons Hooikaas worked in
various collaborations. At its peak
moment, the studio had 2 frequent freelancers working on
projects. Important cultural and
commercial clients during this
period include Centraal Museum
Utrecht, Van Abbe Museum, Rialto
Cinema, Karl Lagerfeld Jeans and
University Delft. Main focus of the
studio was on the strategic integration of information, identity
and interaction into strong visual
solutions. Print, Interactive,

was produced.
