MAAN WF regio 7 biedt aan, De 3-daagse cursus ‘Understanding our Connective Tissue System:Complaints after breast cancer treatment, W. Fourie’. Level 1: The course run over three days where we introduce Connective tissue and fascia, both in theory regarding the newest developments in fascia research, and practical work on how to evaluate and treat the fascial system manually. We also discuss the anatomy and biomechanics of the shoulder joint and then the surgery and reconstructions for the treatment of breast cancer and other post surgery limitations due to fascia damage. We concentrate on the post mastectomy pain and dysfunction syndromes more than the Lymphoedema only. The third day is with live patients on how to apply the techniques.
