WORKSHOP ON ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND CLIMATE CHANGE

Castilla y León Regional Government, and on its behalf the Natural Heritage Foundation of
Castilla y Léon (Fundación Patrimonio Natural), organize this event, to underline the role of
public administrations in energy efficiency and climate change management.
During the workshop, after an introduction about the current and future European targets for
climate change and energy, lessons learnt from different European projects on energy
management in public buildings and energy planning will be presented.
The purpose of the event is to foster the use of domotics in energy management in public
buildings as well as the implementation of Green ICT policies by local and regional
administrations, through the lessons learned from two LIFE projects in Castilla y León.
