De gemeente Westland wil haar bedrijven zo goed mogelijk faciliteren bij de zaken in en met het buitenland, voornamelijk richting Europa, China en Japan. Door ontvangst van delegaties en contacten met overheden en belangrijke partners wordt kennis gedeeld en zoeken we met de bedrijven mee naar samenwerkingsmogelijkheden en zakelijke kansen voor Westlandse tuinbouw. Also in the import of exotic fruit Westland plays an important role. In the production, trade and marketing of floriculture, flowers and (pot)plants, Westland is leading. The municipality of Westland aims to facilitate the companies as much as possible with their business abroad, particularly in Europe, China and Japan. Through meetings with foreign delegations and contacts between governments and important horticultural partners, knowledge is shared. Furthermore, the municipality joins the companies in seeking opportunities for cooperation and business for horticulture-related companies in Westland.
