The BOE certifies qualified physicians who voluntarily appear for examination and meet the goals for certification as Fellows of Interventional Pain Practice. Since 2001, 825 physicians representing 51 countries have been certified FIPP. WIP is an international, nonprofit organization founded in 1993 that brings together renowned experts in the field of pain medicine for the advancement and standardization of interventional pain practice.
